I had a great experience with stylist Gary in Bali.He did everything possible to help me get out of a black-red hair color while keeping my hair as healthy as possible and minimizing damage. You can really tell he cares about the condition of the hair, not just the final color. Gary is also a very friendly and kind person, which made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. I’m very grateful for his professionalism and would definitely recommend him

5 star service from a senior stylist named Dean! I’ve previously had allergic reaction to dye in the past, so I was a bit nervous but also not ready to embrace being grey! I felt my cut needed a refresh in the shape, he did an amazing job and totally nailed the brief. Dean was super careful with his technique to avoid the colour on my scalp/roots, and created beautiful caramel brown highlights to fix the demarcation in my colour. I’m so happy with the colour, the cut, and absolutely no itch or reaction to the dye! Was fascinated by Dean’s hand painting technique to avoid colouring my whole scalp. Meticulous and attention to detail, I’m so glad I booked in! Thank you Dean! 🙏

We visited The Shampoo Lounge in Seminyak together with my girlfriend, who came in to have her hair extensions (tapes) removed. The whole experience was very smooth and professional. The team worked carefully and took their time, making sure everything was done gently and without damaging the hair. The salon itself is clean, stylish and very well organized. If you’re looking for keratin treatments or high-quality keratin products, this is definitely a great place — they have a wide selection and clearly know what they’re doing. Overall a very good experience, friendly staff and a professional service. We can absolutely recommend this salon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous spa pedicure with Trik and nail appointment at TSL with Onyx. Both so lovely. Onyx was so sweet and and her attention to detail was amazing. Her years of experience show in her work. This was my first visit. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience at Shampoo Lounge Seminyak. The salon has a beautiful atmosphere, feels very professional, and almost everything about the visit was fantastic. The team were welcoming, attentive, and clearly skilled at what they do. They pay close attention to detail and the overall service quality was impressive. The appointment ran a little longer than expected, but the final result was worth the wait. Prices are more in line with a premium salon experience, though the quality and overall experience made it worthwhile. A lovely place to visit if you’re looking to treat yourself in Seminyak.

Rani did my hair for a wash and blow dry. I got in early but still didn’t have to wait. She was so polite and professional and really took her time! Even though I wasn’t having a big treatment I felt like she took her time and pampered me. The end result is exactly what I asked for style wise as well!! Also very reasonable in price!

Booked me in at the last minute. Consultation with Lexi was honest and informative. Lexi gave me his opinion on what would be best for my hair. The appointment was even better. Lexi took his time with everything including washing my hair. He was so thorough washing my hair, gentle and gave the best head massage. I felt so relaxed! The extension installation was also amazing! He was very attentive and took his time to make sure they were perfect. I was so happy with Lexi and I would fly back to Bali just to have him do my hair every time. Also enjoyed a nice cocktail during the appointment.

Ian did an amazing job on my cat eye arylic nails! My daughter had an nail polish an had her hair braided in two dutch braids, she loves both! My son went for a haircut and loved the custom lighting bolt. The service was great and the staff were nice and helpful.

I had the most fantastic acrylic nail refill and pedicure both with shellac with Iluh and Desy yesterday. They were both so particular and gentle. I love the end result and also the fact I could have a cocktail during the treatment. I won’t be going anywhere else in Bali in future. Thank you so much.

The service was very good. I did acrylic nails and they look very great and are from good quality. Make sure to have an appointment otherwise it might be full. To set the nails took a long time, but it came out really well. The store itself had a really nice vibe to it. It wasn’t too loud inside even though it was busy.

This place is definitely worth recommending I got 1 pax Xpress nails extensions/gel X nails new set with extra french and extra 3D flower. Olivia was very sweet and designed these absolutely gorgeous nails. the left hand the flower compressed down a little bit, but it’s still very beautiful.

I adore this place. I got massage, wax, biab manicure , hair treatment and hair cut. All the services were brilliant and the attention to detail was exceptional. I am so happy with my hair and a big shout out to Lily who gave the most incredible hair treatment and scalp massage I have ever had in my life. Returning to London all treatments will feel like a let down after the brilliant service at the Shampoo Lounge. Highly recommended !

I took the Ice Mint Creambath and extended the time on shoulder. Orista was my therapist and her shoulder massage was so good! I’ve had tensions and headaches. It was a good relief! Very heavenly. Also on top of that I requested for curls during the blow dry. She did a fantastic job even despite telling me supposedly it’s the stylist that does it but she will try. I appreciate her service and I feel all the staffs here give heartfelt service. Please continue the amazing work!

I randomly found this place after seeing the good reviews, but my first visit was disappointing The staff didn’t clearly explain that the hair wash would be charged separately. Even if it’s listed on the price menu, it should be communicated before the service starts. 220k IDR for a basic hair wash and a 10-minute hair mask with no hairstyling, is simply overpriced, especially for the Denpasar area

Find a hairdresser who’s really good at cutting short hair — it’s sooo tricky. No regrets coming here. Even though there were a few parts of the final result I didn’t totally love, the hairdresser was super helpful in helping me achieve the look I wanted. Anddd the final resulttt — I love it!! ❤️❤️❤️

I got my haircut by Lynn (hope I’ve spelt her name right!) at Rasa Gaya Ubud and was very pleased with the results and experience! My hair needed a fix up. Lynn listened to all my preferences and delivered exactly what I wanted with a few adjustments to suit my hair. Left feeling like a fabulous new woman. Good head massage too! The salon was lovely, clean, and has a very cool layout/design, being set in the trees. Staff were all also very helpful, friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Recently tried their services and I was very impressed! Had a basic haircut then followed it with a type of hair treatment ‘bundling’ so it was more like a head spa which focused on hair loss. This took about 2 hours which included a head/ shoulder, arm/hand, leg/ foot massage. I have had a lot of massages, and this is by far the BEST massage I have ever had and I highly recommend this place The price in comparison to Australian AUD is fantastic and worth every penny

I choose this salon based on its majority local clientele reviews. The staff was helpful with their limited English and tried their best to accommodate when I was short on time for hair treatment (3 hours for colour retouching and cutting). It is very clean and the assistant didn’t try to upsell you extra products. The stylist Wandi has been friendly and professional. They seem to be very busy but there was no waiting for someone just walked in like I did. The cost was reasonable (Rp$1.5 millions) I highly recommend this salon if you stay near Canggu but dont want to pay Canggu tourist prices.

I had a really lovely experience at Jepunayu today getting a haircut, hair treatment and a digital perm. I had a flight later today and was worried that I wouldn’t finish on time as I was initially told, as we added a hair treatment since my hair was damaged after a month of Bali sun and ocean. However, the team was so sweet and attentive and at one of the steps there were three team members doing my hair to make sure we finish on time. We actually finished way earlier and the result is gorgeous! My hair looks very lively, natural and not frizzy at all, I’m really happy with it. The whole team is really sweet, professional and kind, they are experts at what they do. Unfortunately I didn’t get the names of the guy who did my haircut and another guy who also helped throughout, but I’d like to really thank them and Yoni who was with me through the whole process and who permed my hair. A really sweet touch was that they also brought instant noodles for me, as I was there for 4+ hours. Such a small, but very appreciated and kind gesture!

Very professional staff.🤍 I wanted to do a perm korean wave but they checked my hair and inform me that they dont suggest because my hair is very damaged. My hair was dry, fizzy and multicolor (blonde, brown, red and my original hair color) because of the sun and salty water. I really liked this honesty because I can tell that they really want the best for their customers. So they give me a relaxing treatment, a hair cut and a hair dye which I really loved. I am so grateful for them.

I had an amazing experience with the whole team at Jepunayu Jimbaran. I asked to have my hair coloured and cut only with two days notice and they were able to fit me in. Kessie was amazing from the consultation, all the way through to the colouring. I didn’t even need to bleach my hair to achieve the colour! I was a tourist from the USA and ended up spending the day here! I came here initially because I desperately needed a root touch up after traveling for 6 weeks and chatGPT recommended this salon. It was very easy getting an appointment on a Sunday morning by sending them a message on WhatsApp. They are very responsive. In addition to color I ended up getting a Korean wave perm and a 3D cut/trim to reshape my medium length hair and compliment the perm. I had a different stylist for the cut, color and perm. I like that they each have their own specializations. They did a scalp and anti aging treatments and hair mask the end too. I did buy some curling cream and shampoo and they sent me home with complimentary samples of a Kerastase hair mask and hair oil to mix with the curling cream. I was told not to wash my hair for 3 days and use the hair mask when I do. Well I just washed my hair for the first time and it feels amazingly soft considering all the processing this week. My perm is a bit tighter than I’d like but they explained it would loosen in time. It still looks great though. Because they don’t publish their prices my total cost for services was 3.5M ($195) and I spent an additional 938K ($52) in products. Quite expensive for Bali but I’m happy with the results! Do not hesitate to go. They will take good care of you there!

Okay, don’t come to this place if your are going to bleach your roots fr the entire hair. They made my hair with 2 different tones, and the hairdresser said that it’s because my hair is thick? Then she is not a professional. PLZ go somewhere else to bleach your roots!!!! (Additionally, my hair got stiffer even when she was only bleaching my roots, what kind of technique is that?) 🙄🙄🙄 Added my photo as they said, I don’t have the evidence. My body part of my hair is white and the root is yellow… like what kind of bleach is this? Currently I have 3 different colors – the black, the yellow and the white🙄

I accidentally booked my appointment for the following day, but this was no problem at all. They were very accommodating and helped me straight away. I also really appreciated that they did not try to sell me any unnecessary extra treatments. I had my roots coloured, and the result was very good. Paid 900k for haircut, olaplex wash and keratin spray. So disappointed with the results. The cut was no where near the reference I showed the stylist. The hair wash was mid, the water kept spraying onto my face and I would say it wasn’t the most pleasant. During the hair cut, I had to ask him multiple times to trim my bangs as it was covering half of my face. Zero volume and looks almost the same as when I came in. The treatment didn’t not make my hair feel softer. Even using a hair mask at home had more results than this. The stylist wasn’t very friendly and felt like he didn’t care. After cutting, he just went straight to straightening my hair and styling without letting me check the cut. After straightening my hair to be so flat, I requested for the cut to have more volume and showed him the reference image multiple times. He then rinsed my hair again with water and just blow dry my hair without any change. During payment I raised my concerns to lady at the front desk, she just gave a bunch of excuses and never once apologised. For sure would not come back.

really nice experience overall — my mother and I had the deep & shine treatment and it was lovely. Our hair and scalp has felt super soft and clean. the massage was also great included in the package. Only small thing I will add is that I would have preferred my hair to be brushed gentler from the bottom up to prevent less breakage. beautiful salon, lovely ladies and we were very happy. A few days ago, I booked a facial here. My first impression? It felt welcoming from the moment I walked in. What I appreciate most: I’ve tried several salons in Bali, and I’ve often encountered «different» treatment between local and international guests. But at this place, I felt treated as an equal. Treated exactly the same. Honestly, that’s the main reason why I love it. Besides that, the therapist was very informative. Every time she was about to apply something to my face, she’d always say: «This is a hydrating serum, this is a soothing cream»—small details, but they really make a difference. I think this place is definitely worth a visit during your vacation in Bali. Thank you for the sincere service!

Overall: terribell experience. Me and my friend came to this place because we both wanted to get our hair done. I asked for light brown highligts, to get some dimention in my dark hair. I showed my hairdresser inspo pics, and she agreed. I said spesifically that i wanted to keep my natural haircolor, but that i wanted some natural hihhlights to get some dimention. Anyway, when she was finished with my hair, i had turned out complitely blond. Not at all what i was asking for. I said that i wanted it a little more darker, and got a toner that made my hair a little better. But: it was not at all what i was asking for. And also, almost everything of my hair got bleached which is very damaging for the hair. When we tried to say that we did not get what we wanted, our hairdresser got angry and annoyed which made me feel like it was my fault. When it came to payment, we did not want to pay full price because we did not get what we wanted att all, and they destroyed our hair. The hairdresser then accused us of plotting not to pay all along. Which is not the case att all. Both of us are very unhappy with the result and the experience of this salon. Would not recomend.

I booked a gel manicure with chrome on my nails and to say the least the service was really poor. The products and tools used were also very cheap and poor quality. The nail file used was so thin and made a horrible scratch noise. The scrub for the manicure felt like soft dead skin rolling on my hands. The cuticle cream and cleanser was just cheap quality decanted with no brand name just probably very cheap stuff. The application it’s self my nail therapist applied the gel very bumpy and was not even on my nails. I paid extra for chrome which chipped within the same day getting them done. I immediately let them know and provided photos. As I was moving around in Bali I couldn’t get them fixed immediately. The promised I could come back, but when I wanted to come back they didn’t respond to my messages. By after 1 week, all my nails were chipped and the chrome was already gone. Due to them looking so bad I ended up going elsewhere and paying for them to re be done. It’s been 4 weeks since and my nails have still lasted. It was such a shame my nails only lasted a few hours. Overall place looks very aesthetically nice but the treatments are very poor and I can tell from my therapist that she wasn’t experienced as I had to fix the nail shape to avoid being later disappointed during my service.

I ruined my hair color after going to a salon in Bali, so I was beyond happy to finally get my hair back to its beautiful natural color and healthy feel. Happy is such an amazing hair specialist, she truly understood the assignment. I asked for my natural hair color back, and she did an incredible job. She also gave me a trim that made my hair look so healthy and natural again.
