I completed my AOW course and did some fun dives with Let’s Dive Tulamben — 4 days, 12 dives in total — and it was honestly an unforgettable experience! The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering that photos and videos are included — and all the instructors and dive masters are so great at capturing beautiful moments underwater. Both my instructor Komang and my dive master Komang Gading are super patient and confidence-boosting. They are also very good at spotting marine life which made diving so much more fun and enjoyable! One of my favourite moments is the live music happening at the dive centre in the evenings, where you can sing, relax, and chat with divers from all over the world. Highly recommend this place — will definitely come back for my next holiday!

Did 4 days of diving (10 dives total) with Let’s Dive Tulamben with my partner and it was amazing. Went to so many of the local dive sites (Liberty, Drop Off, Batu Kelebit, Alam Anda, Melasti, Boga Wreck…) and Kadek helped us in planning what to do and when. He was flexible with timings, what we wanted to do and was great with briefings prior to the dives. Kadek helped us see so many nudibranchs, fish, sharks, octopuses… and cultivated some amazing experiences. He also made sure we felt safe especially with these new experiences (wreck diving, tight spaces, night diving). Just wrapped up a week here doing macro dives and rescue course, highly recommend this place! For macro, DM Ketut was assigned to me and he was superb. Has laser vision to find the tiniest nudis and all sorts of critters like skeleton shrimp, frogfish, hairy shrimp, and many more. He did the heavy lifting for all the good shots I have taken (lighting, positioning, camera settings etc). Being a novice I wouldn’t have been able to take these photos without his help, and I learnt a lot from him. Also, I did my rescue course with DM Kadek, had a great learning experience. Rescue skills are tough, but he explained the skills clearly and was patient throughout. They also provide accommodation next door to the dive shop, Habitat. The room is new, clean, comfortable beds, and staff are very helpful and friendly. It’s along the main road so there is some noise from traffic, but they provide earplugs so it wasn’t an issue for me. Slept great every night. Overall it was a really good experience, would definitely come back to dive and stay with them.

They were also able to arrange transportation to and fro which made learning very convenient. THANK YOU so much to our dive instructor/masters Dena, Komang and Kadek for making our first diving experience so magical and princess like lol. 💖 They were the most patient, reassuring and competent teachers that every beginner could have hoped for. And they never fail to bring us laughter and calmness in every single one of our dives with them ! First time ever diving and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team made the introduction feel completely manageable, clear instructions, no pressure, and great English throughout which made a huge difference as a first-timer. The shipwreck dive itself was incredible. Seeing it up close underwater is something I genuinely wasn’t prepared for, it blew me away. We had a great experience. As most of us had no experience with Scuba diving, we were a bit worried. But the staff really take a good care of everyone. We felt in very good hands. From teaching to pool trial to open water dive. Everyone was very professional and care. At the end, we were also given all underwater photos and videos for free (and a cert). We particularly enjoy the lunch meal in their court heard after the dive. Highly recommend for everyone.

We have had the pleasure of using Tulamben Drive today for a fantastic diving experience. First things first, i was very nervous as its only my second experience diving and doing it in another country to where I live (Spain) meant I felt more nervous than usual. They started with the explanation and safety protocol which was second to none – even better than when I had my first experience, I was very impressed. Following this they explained everything about where we would be diving, what we needed to do to stay safe and how to enjoy the experience the most! Wayan & Ketut were the supporting divers with us and they really made the experience so special for my wife and I! This post is late, but I had a great time diving with Agus from Tulamben Dive in end September 2025. We explored the USAT liberty wreck, Emerald and Drop-Off Dive sites in a single day dive. Everything was well organised with free transportation services by the dive center to and from my resort in Tulamben. I was happy to take up the dive centre’s recommendation to start my dive at USAT liberty early in the morning due to lesser crowd. The wreck was majestic and certainly worth the trip. My favourite site is nevertheless the Drop-off, where you dive along the cliff that drops down to the bottomless sea. The dive site is filled with plenty of colourful corals and bustling sea life. I was initially slightly apprehensive about diving at Tulamben as most of the the sites are shore dives, which i usually find a chore. However, Agus made the shore dives a breeze by helping me in and out of the water and my equipment. The dive center also provides transport between the dive sites, making the whole trip as enjoyable as can be. During the dive, Agus also helped to spot for interesting sea life such as the tiny nudibranches, well camouflaged scorpion fishes and electric clams. Unfortunately, I only planned for a day to dive at Tulamben for my previous trip. Will definitely consider Tulamben Dive again for my next trip to Tulamben!

I was really nervous before the dive, but the instructor was incredibly patient and carefully went through all the steps with us again before we got in the water. During the dive, the instructor was not only professional but also very funny, which helped me relax and enjoy the experience. He even helped fix my hair before taking underwater photos so I could look my best in the pictures! I highly recommend our instructor Wayan and Komang made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the entire dive. Tulamben is a perfect place for beginner divers 🤿. If you’re still hesitating about trying scuba diving, I highly recommend choosing this dive center. You won’t regret it! ❤️

The diving experience I had with Tulamben Dive was amazing. I did two fundives with Wayan around and into the Liberty wreck, while it was pouring rain outside! Both were exceptional. Once he is sure enough about your peace and buoyancy, he takes you on a mysterious and wondrous trip through the wreck. So glad I did also a nightdive with him! I was excited when I get in, but even more when I get out. So many fish we saw! Also the organization is great. No pressure, good homestay, great help! Thank you Tulamben Dive for this marvelous experience!

Entire experience was great! Ed and Roi were fun to be around and easy to learn from, accommodations were incredible and the fishing was tons of fun and also pretty productive. Would highly recommend doing this if you’re into spearfishing at all!

I highly recommend the blue water trip for Spearos of all abilities. I booked the trip and then added two extra days! As an intermediate spearo I learnt a lot about Bluewater fishing and shot some dream fish. Ed and the team were amazing in the water, helping out where needed but also allowing me to be independent in the water. The trip allowed other guys in the group to shoot their first fish which was amazing to see! Every part of of our stay was taken care of which made it easy to relax in the water and focus on spearfishing. The fresh fish dinners really made the trip! Cheers team, I’ll be back

I am a regular freediver and the spearfishing course was incredible. Every single person on the team is so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. For freediving in Bali, or spearfishing in Bali, this is the way to go! Ed had amazing knowledge and experience, Evan was incredibly helpful and worked with me to work out a last minute trip, and everyone else I met from the team was phenomenal. I feel like I have awesome skills to bring along with me because of this course, and group. Had a fun dive day practicing with Aquatic Apes! Thanks Ed for being super patient with us and gave us new knowledge. Great service for the trip, we felt very well taken care of. The location of the diving school is also great so we can eat, relax and hang around after the practice. Cool, helpful and super friendly staff they even invited us for their BBQ night! I was searching for freediving schools in bali and nusa penida, and choosing apneista was the best choice I could have made. They have a beautiful setup, with the beach and dive site right in front of you. The instructors were amazing and led us through with so much calm along the way. We completed our level 1 certificate and reached 20m deep, which was really nice for our first experience as freedivers. But most importantly of all, we had so much fun! We really recommend them 😊

I had the most amazing experience doing my level 1 freedive course here with Ray, Karina and Natalia. They always made me feel safe, informed and confident. They’re professional but also extremely warm and fun! I can’t recommend it enough, I will be back for further training 100%. It was such an amazing experience to do my level 1 certification. The instructors are very professionals they very attentive to each students despite the difference level of skills and experience. The place is also very convenient it close to the diving area, you just need to swim to get there. Will probably do my level 2 here in the future.

I highly recommend Apneista Freediving in Bali. I completed my Level 1 course over two days and had an incredible experience. Before starting the course, I struggled to dive deeper than 5 metres due to issues equalising and feeling anxious. After just the first open water training session I was able to reach 15 meters comfortably. I was given feedback and tips to improve my technique and help me relax after each dive, which made a huge difference. The course has helped me feel much safer whilst freediving, and improved my trust and confidence in myself. Thankyou to the team for providing such a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I got so much out of these two days, I’m now aiming to return to complete the level 2. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning to freedive or improving their skills 🙂

I came to Freedive Nusa with no prior experience in freediving and decided to take the Wave 1 course just to give it a try. By the time I finished Wave 1, I enjoyed it so much that taking Wave 2 immediately afterwards felt like the only option. The teaching method is excellent, the facilities are fantastic, and my instructor, Hamza, was the best. He was knowledgeable, patient, and always made me feel safe and confident throughout the course. I’m already looking forward to coming back for more training. I really recommend Freedive Nusa!

Just left Freedive Nusa in Nusa Penida and already can’t wait to go back! We had such a great experience, the team made us feel safe the whole time while making sure we had the best moments in the water. Big thanks to Joshua, Biga, and Hamza, you guys are amazing! Biga even let me borrow her fins when mine malfunctioned (lifesaver!), and Hamza was quick to jump in and help when needed. You can really tell they’re well prepared, with safety kits and everything. We had a fantastic morning out with Lembongan Trip! The crew provided water, snacks & a towel, as well as pointing out interesting fish & coral while snorkeling Very happy to be able to swim with Manta Rays!! If you go, please don’t be like the other tourists trying to touch them & kicking and pushing people out the way!

Amazing value! Thank you so much for making ocean snorkelling accessible to non-/weak swimmers. Having life rings to hold onto that were attached by a long rope to a guide (additional to life vests) gave extra reassurance. The guide also tows you to the right spots and we were lucky to see manta rays, a turtle and some colourful fish on our 8am trip. I think we had 3 guides, as well as the Captain, for our boatload of 13 people, which is amazing. Attached photos are provided by Lembongan Trip the day after our tour.

My wife and I enjoyed a great day in Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida snorkeling (we also got the Mangrove tour as well) and took our own Underwater Action Camera as well as the footage from the team. All three spots we visited (Manta Bay, Gamet Bay and off Mangrove Forest) were awesome and different with tropical fish, a turtle and several Manta Ray’s seen on our trip. Thanks for a memorable and awesome experience. We also had the complimentary meal after the Snorkeling which was delicious.

We loved snorkelling Nusa Lombongan and Nusa Penida today. Each of the 3 snorkelling spot was unique and beautiful. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful of all skill levels. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An incredible day with Lembongan Trip! I booked as a solo traveller and was part of a larger group, but the whole experience was so well organised that everything felt easy from start to finish. Pickup from my resort was right on time, the fast boat transfer was smooth, and the team had everyone moving seamlessly between each part of the day. Our guide, Maddi, was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure everyone felt safe and included. Swimming with the manta rays was an unforgettable experience and definitely the highlight of my Bali trip! The included mie goreng lunch was delicious, and the relaxing mangrove boat tour afterwards was a beautiful way to finish the afternoon before heading back to Sanur. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Lembongan Trip again and highly recommend them if you’re looking for a stress-free, professionally run snorkelling tour.

We spent 10 days diving aboard La Galigo. We saw whale sharks, manta rays, reef sharks, Komodo dragons, and many other incredible animals. The crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the dive masters were highly professional. I wholeheartedly recommend traveling with La Galigo.

We had the most incredible time travelling and diving through Central Raja Ampat with La Galigo! This trip will be a core memory I will cherish for the rest of my life. From first interaction to the last, the level of service and attention to detail is above and beyond. The boat itself is so comfortable and well appointed. Had a wonderful time in Raja Ampat on the La Galigo. The crew looked after us so well – I felt very spoiled. Definitely felt safe as a solo female traveller. I would absolutely recommend!

I did my SSI Open Water course here with Rian as my instructor. He was extremely attentive and safety oriented, even though we had members in our class who weren’t focused or interested in listening. He made sure we all passed and were capable, and took us on four amazing dives to finish our course. I can’t recommend Rian enough as an Instructor, not only is he very experienced at diving, he’s very knowledgeable about marine life and the ocean. I had such a good experience, I decided to do two more fun dives, and had Bryan as our guide. He was a fantastic guide with amazing eyes and managed to find all the large and small sea creatures I told him I was excited to see, plus a few extra gems. Thank you Dive Concepts Lembongan, the local staff were friendly and accomodating, I will definitely be back!

My first scuba dive experience, I took the Discovery Dive and it was handled directly by Garry. Super recommended! He is very kind, friendly, and funny. His explanations were always clear, which made me feel safe and comfortable as a beginner. My first dive felt relaxed and enjoyable, and I didn’t panic at all because Garry was always there guiding me. Open water diver course- I just completed the 3 day open water course with my instructor Loic. I had an unforgettable and incredibly beautiful and educational experience. Loic made every step of the way clear and easy to understand ensuring my comfort and safety every step of the way. It was the perfect balance of fun yet educational and safe. I felt so lucky to experience my first dives alongside mantarays, turtles, beautiful healthy coral, many many beautiful fish and even a whale shark! Loic ensured I was comfortable and made me feel very safe in some tricky conditions and currents in the drift dive on the second day. Thank you Loic and dive concepts for the memory I will cherish forever. Highly recommend

One of the best diving experiences I have ever had! I spent 4 days diving with Dive Concepts Lembongan and every single dive was fantastic. The operation was professional, well-organized, and focused on both safety and enjoyment. A huge thank you to Jeff and Jason, who were exceptional Dive Masters throughout the trip. They were friendly, patient, and always attentive to every diver in the group. Their local knowledge of the dive sites was impressive, and they made every dive feel relaxed and enjoyable. The highlight of the trip was encountering several manta rays, including a rare all-black «Ninja Manta», which was absolutely unforgettable. We also saw turtles, reef sharks, colorful nudibranchs, and many other amazing marine creatures. Jeff and Jason were excellent at spotting marine life and ensuring everyone had the chance to enjoy these special moments. The dive briefings were clear, the equipment was well maintained, and the boat crew was always helpful and welcoming. From the first day to the last, the entire team made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers.

What an experience — we spotted 7 mantas in a single session, which honestly felt unreal. The 8am group session took us to 3 dedicated manta spotting sites, and the fourth stop was a fun photo spot with the fish. Equipment was provided, the locations were well chosen, and the mantas delivered. One genuine con though — there were zero instructions given before getting in the water. It was our first time snorkelling and we completely figured it out ourselves. For experienced snorkellers that’s fine, but for first-timers a basic briefing would’ve made a big difference. Don’t let that put you off though — seeing 7 mantas up close is something we’ll never forget.

Had an amazing snorkeling tour! We were lucky enough to see three manta rays along with many beautiful tropical fish. The guide was extremely friendly and professional, and even took great videos and photos that were included in the price, which was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommended!

We booked a private boat, a cute little pink one. It was an incredibly lucky day; we saw many mantas at Manta Point and dolphins on both the way there and back. Truly a blissful experience! Highly recommend this shop; the staff are friendly, and you can negotiate extra time and dive sites for a fee.

We saw about 10-15 mantas at Manta Point. The guides made sure we felt safe and happy. Also the other spots were really cool with the 100s of Fish there. Definitely recommend this tour. Maybe other tours are very similar, but I’m very happy.
