Giulia Bogotto

If you are looking for high-quality snorkeling gear, Ocean King Dive Shop is an absolute gem. After searching for specific equipment, we finally found a fantastic selection of Cressi gear here, including the Zeus and Big Eyes Evolution models. What truly sets this shop apart, however, is the atmosphere and the people. The service was incredibly kind and welcoming; the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you find exactly what fits your needs for exploring the local reefs. We loved everything about our experience—from the expert advice to the warm hospitality. Whether you are looking for top-tier Italian brands like Cressi or reliable regional favorites like AmScuD, this is the place to go. Highly recommended for any ocean lover passing through!

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for diving equipment. The stock is impressive and well-organized. I was surprised at how budget-friendly their prices are for such high-quality gear. Great value for money and very reliable!

This dive shop has a lot of stock and the best prices. It was the only place that had a size 9, 3 mm full wetsuit (I think the laregest size). The stock is extensive and sometimes it is difficult to find what you want, if it is stored elsewhere. The shop is normally very busy, so to help yourself it is better to know what you want before going to the shop. They also have a pretty good website that appears to list everything, although in my case it wasn’t clear if they had large sizes available until I went in to ask. In my opinion (and as a suggestion to the owners) the layout of the shop could be much improved, especially for the busy times.

This was my first time visiting this shop. I was looking for swimming fins for my daughter, but unfortunately the service was disappointing. We waited for more than 20 minutes just to see the product. During that time, the lady assisting us did not provide any updates or explanation, which made us feel ignored and wasted our time. I am a local customer, but that should not mean we receive less attention or lower-quality service. We came prepared to make a purchase and expected to be treated with the same respect and professionalism as any other cus

We have only amazing things to say about Amed White Sands divers! Choosing a dive shop in Amed can be tricky because there are SO many to choose from, so we chose Amed White Sands Divers based off some good reviews I had seen and they certainly were not wrong! We signed up for the Open Water Diver Course a week before we arrived in Bali and was assigned Kadek as the instructor for my fiancè & I. Kadek was beyond knowledgeable, reassuring, safe, friendly and informative. He truely believes in making sure PADI students are well equipped for safe and fun diving in the future. We were able to practice all the skills needed for the course multiple times and Kadek always made sure to checkin on what we had learnt and what we felt we needed more time learning. I was worried about how I would feel scuba diving but can honestly say I was not scared at any point. The only downside is that we left Amed the day we completed the course – we wish we could have stayed to complete more fun dives with Kadek! Thanks again to Kadek and Amed White Sand ms fanciers, including all the drivers and staff that help to make sure everyone has a positive experience! 🥰

Thanks to all at White Sand Divers! We had awesome snorkel and diving trips in Amed. While it was always perfectly organised we especially enjoyed the relaxed and super friendly atmosphere. We always felt very welcomed and personally treated. Also the great flexibility and the effort to match the dives to our skills and wishes was outstanding. BIG THANKS for some unforgettable experiences!

We decided to get our open water diving certification in 3 days and had a fantastic time with our instructor, Agus! It was our first diving experience, and Agus was really professional. We felt confident with him, his explanations were very clear and he was super fun and friendly! Thanks also for the flexibility; the diving center adapted to our schedule. To all the fabulous dive crew, drivers and support staff at Amed White Sand Divers, especially my guide Nyoman, thank you so much for an absolutely incredible week of diving! While I’ve dived in Amed on multiple previous occasions, I hadn’t visited the area since 2018 and was uncertain which dive operator I should pick. Like most people, I looked for online recommendations and was so incredibly thankful to have chosen Amed White Sand Divers based on their consistently excellent reviews. As a solo female traveller, picking a dive company that made me feel both safe and comfortable in and out of the water was very important. And Amed White Sand Divers treat you like family! When I unexpectedly got sick with a very high fever on Nyepi and needed to cancel diving, the team made sure I knew where the local 24/7 hospital was and checked in multiple times to make sure I was ok. When you’re ill in a country far from home on the only day of year the entire island shuts down, this type of personal care and attention is priceless. Like other reviewers have mentioned, Amed White Sand Divers are highly professional yet friendly, fun and relaxed. They individually tailor the dives to what you actually want to see and experience, and seem genuinely invested in making sure divers have the most amazing time in Amed. A special thank you to my dive guide Nyoman who took the time and effort to make sure that I got to experience new sites I’d never dived before (Sidem was excellent!), pointed out all the nudibranchs because he knew how much I loved them and made me feel so safe, comfortable and relaxed in his presence. If you are travelling to Amed, I couldn’t recommend Amed White Sands Divers more highly for both new and experienced divers. My only wish is that I had been able to stay and dive longer. Until next time. ☺️

From a dive center I expect a few things: to know their dive sites, to have a well organized daily routine, and to provide a not-crowded experience. No fear diving delivers and exceeds on all these expectations. We had an amazing 10 days with them and would definitely repeat next year. I would add that their rental gear looked fine, but we haven’t really tested it except for wetsuits, as we had our own. And Tom is an amazing high energy and fun buddy and guide, he provided a wonderful experience for my son.

A wonderful day spent with wonderful Wayan who took us through a refresher and then 2 dives at Jamilen Bay. Incredible conditions, visibility perfect, coral stunning, fish of all varieties, colours and shapes and a seahorse, stone fish, crabs, shy moray eel and much more thanks to Wayan’s sharp eye. He was also great with us as we both had issues with equalising and he showed great patience and perseverance as he gently lead us on and provided clear and thoughtful instructions continuously. Thanks to Laura and ? …sorry, mind blank, for organising it for us at the last minute, much appreciated. It was a magical and memorable day. Huge congrats to Wayan on a job truly well done!! 👏

When in Amed Bali, dive with No Fear Diving! Owners Amanda and Tom provided a great experience with their diving team, roundtrip ground transport, and lodging too. My wife and I dove three 3-tank dives including night dive with excellent divemaster, Nindy «Fish», and one sunrise 2-tank dive day with super divemaster Wayan. We had a blast with their dive team all week. Their villa lodging, Amed Ku, was perfect with tasty home-cooked breakfast and our lunches while diving. No Fear Diving’s gear and transport team make the shore entry dives and boat dives a breeze. Amanda also coordinated a day trip with Penny, restaurant owner Bali Asli, and her convertible VW driver for a memorable day of the area’s history and culture! We had the best time in Amed with their hospitality and experience. It’s an easy recommendation for experienced divers of all skill levels or those interested in learning to dive. Thanks to all for a great holiday visit!

When environmental factors forced us to cancel our planned Komodo liveaboard at the final hour, our organizers, Tim and Rick had to pivot fast to save our TOCO Fam holiday. We decided as a group to head to Bali; to Amed Beach, where Rick had worked with the owners of No Fear Diving to help us save our holiday and move it to land based scuba diving; thinking of it as a «consolation prize.» How wrong we were. From the moment we arrived, we wern’t just guests; we were folded into the incredible culture that Tom and Amanda have championed with their team. They live by a simple but profound philosophy: Come as friends, leave as family…. Sound familiar? What makes No Fear Diving truly exceptional is that the Thai Ocean Academy (TOCO) philosophy exists here, vibrantly alive, outside of TOCO itself. That kind of continuity and soul is a rarity indeed, and it’s a testament to the community they’ve built. The Magic of the Experience Our adventure kicked off with a night dive straight after the road trip from the airport. Diving into that sparkling black sand for the first time was surreal. We encountered elusive frogfish and the iconic «Shaun the Sheep» nudibranchs, baby boxfish; and that was just the beginning. • Epic Diving: We experienced some of the best dives of our lives, packed with hilarious moments that will live forever in my memory. • Unmatched Hospitality: The owners and their team gave their absolute all to ensure every second was unforgettable. • A True Connection: There is no way a liveaboard could have matched the warmth and community we felt here. The diving was, in a word, legendary. We managed to sneak in a cheeky tec dive with local legend Turk Diggler from Prana Dive Centre in a ripping current that resulted in some safe but absolutely hilarious moments I’ll never forget. We capped off the trip with a group dive at an epic little spot in just 3 meters of water. We spent 90 minutes submerged in a macro wonderland, encountering: • Seahorses and «Shaun the Sheep» nudis • Frogfish and Leaf Scorpionfish • Harlequin Shrimps and Harlequin Sweetlips • A Green Sea Turtle (Danny’s way of saying G’day; if you know, you know!) The absolute highlight for me, however, was an epic 90-minute DPV run. Cruising the depths «powered up» alongside Tom was the ultimate way to experience the blue. Giving Back to the Family Beyond the diving, I was incredibly humbled to share my passion for cinematography. Being able to run two workshops for the entire No Fear Diving team was my small way of giving back to a crew that gave us so much of their heart and soul this week. A Heartfelt Thank You Words truly cannot express how grateful I am from the bottom of my heart. I feel completely refreshed. What started as a backup plan became a legendary week of «hanging with family» that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Its important to name the entire crew, so thanks to new family members, Amanda & Tom Nowland, Dina, Illuh, Nindy Kadek (Fish), Essa, Puta, Padmi, Jonas, Teresa, Marko, Wayan and Ronja, and Turk from Prana Dive… If you are looking for world-class diving wrapped in a culture that genuinely cares about you, look no further than No Fear Diving Amed, Bali. #nofeardiving #ThaiOceanAcademy #bali #pranadive

We were referred to No Fear by Turk Vangel. Turk runs Prana Dive but was leaving Bali thus was unable to assist us. My wife is OW with 19 dives but has not dived for 17 yrs. She can be a nervous diver hence why we were looking for a suitable instructor for her refresher course. Amanda the owner was in Europe at the time, but she was excellent in coordinating everything for us to ensure everything went smoothly (more on that later). My wife had a fantastic (private) refresher course at Jemeluk Bay with Wayne, who got her fully comfortable back in the water. On the day she did her refresher, I did two dives at the USAT Liberty. Padmi from the shop led the two dives and we had Michael from Germany who was also doing a refresher course. Having dived with many different shops around the world, I was impressed by Padmi’s instructions with Michael as well as how she led the dives. My wife and I did two more days of diving with gaps in between. Padmi led those dives and she was fantastic in helping my wife in the water, especially when my wife struggled with a bit of current. Padmi also managed the unexpected competently. On my first dive on day one, ~30 min into the dive when swimming down to take a video of a mantis shrimp that Padmi pointed out, somehow one of my fins came off and floated to the surface. Padmi managed the situation of having a one-fin diver in the group very well as well as organising the shop to bring a replacement set of fins to the site for our 2nd dive. On this topic of fins, ZeePro, an Indonesian company, makes a copy of the ScubaPro Jet Fins but is significantly cheaper. I enquired with Amanda about the possibility of the shop getting one in my size (hoping it would arrive before we leave Bali). Amanda was able to quickly organise one shipped to the shop, which arrived in two days and I was able to use it on my remaining dives. On our last diving day, another German lady was diving and her dives were led by Nindy. My observation was that she also did a fantastic job as a DM (we came across her group during one of our dives). I should note that both Padmi and Nindy do not dive using «standard» setups. Wayne used a standard setup when he did the refresher with Sam and also later when we saw him conduct a lesson with two OW course students. I am mentioning this here because this reflects somewhat the approach of the shop. Most of the BCD setup (as observed in the gear room) the instructors and DM use are semi-tech / tech / sidemount setups. This to me is a positive as it shows two things. 1) they do tech dives themselves, which inherriently means the instructors and DMs themselves have a deeper appreciations of the technicalities and dangers associated with diving. 2) they are better placed to manage any air shortage issues during a dive. Padmi dived with a long hose and also practiced with Michael swimming underwater whilst sharing air. She was also very economic on air (40 min into the dive. I was at 75 bar and she had 150 bar). This meant that in the event Michael or I ran into air issues, there would have been no problems with sharing air comfortably. Nindy dived with twin sidemounts on a recreational dive that was no deeper than ~25m. This meant she had plenty of air reduendencies to support her dive group should it be needed. HOWEVER, do note the following 1) Bring snacks and drinks with you for the surface internval between dives. The dives include lunch, which we typically had after the two dives (nobody wanted a full meal between dives at mid morning). The shop only supplies water for the surface interval. 2) Air cylinder leakage. This is NOT due to the shop. The dive cylilnders are supplied centrally by a 3rd party – i.e. all the shops use the same supplier. – of my 6 dives, I rejected two cylinders and only 1 dive was with a cylinder that didn’t leak at the seal. – 4 of my wife’s 6 dives we did together. 3 leaked at the seal and 1 had a reasonable leak at the valve knob. – All the tanks used by Padmi and Michael leaked.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience with Geko Dive Bali! The entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and made me feel safe and welcome from the very beginning. The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly, which made every dive enjoyable and stress-free. The dive sites were absolutely beautiful, with great visibility and amazing marine life. The equipment was well maintained, the organization was excellent, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, I highly recommend Geko Dive Bali. Thank you for making my Bali diving trip such an unforgettable adventure—I can’t wait to come back! A special thanks to my instructor for being so patient and encouraging throughout the course. I learned a lot and gained much more confidence underwater.

Unmatched hospitality and professional diving! I am so grateful to the team at Geko. They honestly treated me too well and always looking for my safety and wellbeing. The level of personal attention, kindness, and hospitality was unmatched. Beyond being highly professional and safety-oriented, they helped with heavy gear, pointed out rare marine life, accommodated a last-minute change in my schedule to make sure that I could see Mola Mola and Mantas on top of sharks. Also, they helped me with logistic and last minute afternoon trip in Sanur. Thank you Eka, Kumang and all the crew for making my 3 days in Padangbai amazing!

Just finished a great four days diving with Geko. I came in with specific requests of sites I wanted to see and they went above and beyond to make that happen, even taking me out to Gili Biaha (unfortunately the currents weren’t playing nice so we called it before even jumping off the boat) and Gili Tepekong as a solo diver, for just a small surcharge (usually requiring 3 divers). The manager Eka always had a big smile on his face and was super responsive and patient with all my questions 😆 I was 1:1 with the DM for two days, then max one other diver the other two days, always matched nicely by level. A great place to stop if you have a few days in Bali, and when it’s busier it’s probably the best place to get to dive a mix of local, Nusa Penida and Tulamben/Amed as they go all around. Definitely recommend. Also, the nasi campur for lunch was 👌🏼

Geko Dive is an excellent scuba diving provider. They have small boats and big boats depending on the dive site, and they helped accommodate all my requests. Very reasonable pricing both for diving and for extras, like 15 liter tanks and nitrox. I did the see it all safari package and that was an excellent choice for the off season. Saw all sorts of wild life. White tip and black tip reef sharks, manta rays, eels, massive turtles, and all sorts of small creatures too. I would highly recommend them.

I have done all of my scuba training up to Rescue Diver with Geko Dive over the years, and they truly know exactly what they are doing. Every single course I took was one-on-one with Made K, and the experience was just perfect. For this trip to Padangbai, I brought my dearest friend to Geko for her Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certifications. Once again, Made K provided sterling service with personalized one-on-one tuition. The entire syllabus was taught and practiced with precision and perfection. We cannot recommend Geko and their indefatigable team enough. Don’t even think twice—just do it. Geko rules the waves both above and below!

I took my advance open water here and was assigned to Farish as my instructor. First off, the services here was impeccable. No lengthy wait or moment of uncertainty. Farish made sure to give us proper briefing, let us know what we were going to expect. Farish is a very gentle and patient instructor. Even during the dives, he was attentive and his instructions were very clear. It made the entire course very pleasant and productive. Even during the second dive in Nusa Penida when the current was quite extreme, Farish was extra careful and attentive. He made the right call to end the dive prematurely for safety considerations. It was a very delightful course with Farish 10/10 would come back again. The boat crew and everyone else in the dive center was extremely polite and cordial. Carrying smiles, supper approachable and social. They were very insightful and would gladly have an interesting conversation with you about their experiences. Will definitely return for more leisure dives with them in future!

I had such an amazing experience with Bali Diversity. I first did a Discover Scuba Dive and loved it so much that I continued on to complete my Open Water certification. Marion was honestly the best first dive instructor I could have asked for. She was calm, patient, kind and gave me really helpful feedback throughout the course. She made me feel safe even when I was nervous, and somehow her lovely French accent made the whole experience even more charming 😂 The whole experience felt very personal and supportive, not like a big company rushing people through. I genuinely fell in love with diving and beautiful Amed, and I’m so glad I chose Bali Diversity.

Marion and Charles are incredible instructors and we had the best time here. Outright one of the best experiences I’ve had while travelling! We signed up for the taster day consisting of two dives, which suited us as complete novices. The taster was so good we extended to then complete the Padi Open Water Diver course here. I cannot recommend it enough, our experience here was what made our trip to Amed great. Thanks to Marion, Charles and all the support team for all the attentiveness, answering all our questions and pointing out the various incredible creatures in Amed!

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Bali Diversity. From the very first moment, the entire team made us feel welcome, safe, and completely taken care of. A very special thank you to Marion, whose professionalism, kindness, patience, and passion for diving made every single dive truly exceptional. She is an outstanding instructor and guide, always attentive, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable. Thanks to her, we felt confident underwater and were able to fully enjoy what have honestly been the best dives of our lives. The whole team is fantastic—friendly, highly professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Every detail was perfectly organized, the equipment was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed while maintaining the highest safety standards. If you are visiting Amed, we couldn’t recommend Bali Diversity more highly. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced diver, this is the place to dive. Thank you for giving us memories that will stay with us forever. We will definitely be back. See you again soon! Ana and Alba💜

My first scuba diving experience was with Lisa and Marion, and it was nothing short of amazing! During my time there, Lisa was really such a sweet and amazing instructor, who would monitor all my movements, give me tips and encouragement. It was really enjoyable being her student! I started with the one day try scuba diving experience, and had such a good time that I decided to go for the Open Water Course, and in no time I changed my plans from Ubud to stay a longer time in Amed, to pursue the Advanced Open Water Course! When I come back to Amed, I’m definitely looking forward to continue more dives with Bali Diversity, either Pernida or the shipwreck that I never got to go. I truly recommend Bali Diversity especially if you are unsure of whether to try scuba or not!

We had an amazing experience during our Try Scuba Diving session! A huge thank you to our instructors, Marion and Jimmy, for making it such a fun, safe, and unforgettable adventure. They were incredibly patient, explained everything clearly, and made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the dive. Their professionalism and positive attitude made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this dive center to anyone looking to try scuba diving for the first time. I was really nervous about the breathing part before we started, but the Discover Scuba program completely put me at ease. Our instructor Jimmy was fantastic. His instructions were clear and spot on, and he was constantly checking that we felt safe and comfortable throughout the dive. It turned out to be an amazing experience, and I’d highly recommend them

best resort ever!I completed my OW and AOW courses here, taking my first steps into the world of diving. Ade was a fantastic instructor, and Nabila was an excellent teaching assistant. The process was completely smooth, allowing me to master many techniques in a short time. The vibe created by staff here was very relaxing, enabling me to focus on my breathing and stay underwater for nearly an hour on my sixth dive. We visited four different areas in five days, including shipwrecks and manta point. I saw turtles, sharks, black manta rays, and eagle rays… I had a blast and am already aquaholic! I’m sure I’ll be back soon💘

Really enjoyed the two days of diving with Crystal Divers. Very welcoming, helpful and easy going. Feels like diving with family. We dived at Penida (3 dives, including lots of Mantas!) on Day 1 and Padangbai (2 dives) on Day 2. Hegi was a fantastic guide and really looked after us both above and below water. One of the best guides I’ve dived with (and an instructor so if you’re interested, look no further!). Recommended, wholeheartedly!

Incredible experience diving with Crystal. Their equipment is spectacular, all dive computers are Shearwater and they had backplates for fun divers! It was one amazing dive after another, from majestic mantas to cuttlefish galore. It was 4 days of packed diving with night dives, drift dives and the amazing Liberty wreck. Our dive master Greg was warm and made everyone so comfortable, with Asa and Ade helping. All round amazing dives and great people to dive with. If you’re looking to improve your diving, they are fantastic divers to get tips and fix your buoyancy. Safe reliable and just all-round amazing. Go team Crsytal!!

Myself and my partner did our advanced open water here with Lee as our instructor. We had a great time from start to finish. We did one day of diving off Nusa Penida and one day off Tulamben. It always felt really safe and more importantly was very fun! We also did an extra day of diving off Gili Tepekong, which was well planned/ timed by Lee and we experienced basically no current there. Thank you Lee!! ⭐️

We’re a group of 9 that did a mix of scuba, open water and refresher courses, followed by a day trip to Manta Point. The instructors were easy going and highly professional – managing our mix of ages, abilities, and experience with efficiency and flexibility. A couple of our party had problems equalising and the instructors rearranged things to find a different day to complete their pool work and open water dives, so we could all make the trip to Manta Point, which was one of the highlights of our whole trip. Thanks so much to everyone at Crystal Divers for making our time in the water so fun and memorable!!!

I «dived» into the Open Water Certification course with this centre as a complete novice to diving. On Day 1, we had a whole intense day of making sure we learnt all the skills well in the pool before being taken into open water. Ade was a great instructor, taking things at a comfortable pace and always making the learning fun, while emphasing safety. We progressed to diving in the ocean and by my 2nd dive, I was already feeling calm and confident under water. We continued to practise skills while being exposed gradually to more of what the ocean has to offer. By dive 3, I was stunned by the Manta Rays cleaning point and already in love with diving. Dive 4 was a drift dive, I felt 100% safe with Ade, even though the current was strong. The wonderful dive briefings by Greg, thoughtful itinerary and watchful guidance of Ade made this a wonderful experience. After being certified, I did 2 fun dives at a ww2 wreck with Asa. He is a calming and cheerful influence both above and under water. I am extremely lucky to have this lovely group of people change my life and make me fall in love with diving and the ocean. Cannot recommend Ade, Asa and Greg enough. 🖤🖤🖤

I completed my scuba dives at Tulamben and Nusa Penida during my workation in Bali, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The instructors were highly experienced, calm, and professional. What impressed me the most was how well they understood my comfort level and progressively guided me underwater, making every stage of the dive feel safe and enjoyable. Their approach built my confidence while allowing me to fully appreciate the underwater world. A special thanks to Yani and Monte for managing the entire process so smoothly. From coordination and logistics to ensuring everything ran seamlessly, they made the whole experience stress-free and truly memorable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, professional, and well-organized scuba diving experience in Bali.

Great experience with Kriss Bali Diving! Did the Discovery Dive Nusa Penida. Three dives including Manta Point and a Drift Dive – would recommend. Guide Bobby and the whole boat crew took great care of us. Driver Monte was also great. We did the dive on a birthday and got surprised with delicious cakes after we finished the trip.

I found the Kriss Bali Diving Club online and it came highly recommended. They offer a wide range of courses and diving trips. Excellent communication, with quick and efficient responses and clarification of any questions. The diving trips are very well-thought-out and carefully prepared. From the very beginning of the trip to the end, you feel very comfortable. The atmosphere is very family-like. Safety is their top priority. The diving equipment is excellent and well-maintained. The boat was very fast and safe. The dive sites are excellent, and as promised, they surprised us with their beauty and abundance of fauna and flora.

This is an excellent school. From the beginning, I was well instructed by the owner, Henry. He sent me all the course details and provided a special form to complete to make sure I was well before starting. During my practice classes, I stayed in a convenient location, and each morning I was picked up by a private driver. He would drive me to school, to the places to swim, and back every day. The atmosphere at school is very positive, and the instructors have a wealth of experience. For instance, my instructor, Eka, has 16 years of experience. On the first day, I struggled with learning the skills, as I was afraid of staying underwater, especially when we needed to clear water from the mask. Also, my body wasn’t used to staying in the water for long. Eka was very patient with me, gave me enough time to calm down, and encouraged me to try. At least complete the first day of training. So, at the end of the day, I did everything and felt quite comfortable, so I decided to keep going with the course. There were other struggles, but with the right support, I felt safe and confident to complete all the skills required for diving. I strongly recommend this school if you really want to learn, dive, and see the beautifull underwater world. I felt very welcome and supported 🙂

Great crew, great experience! We went to Padang Bai for a beginner‘s fun dive and, with professional instructors, immediatly felt at home underwater! Delicious lunch and pick-up/drop-off at the hotel included!

Our plans to go to Labuan Bajo fell through when our boat tour was unexpectedly canceled last minute due to weather, and we were pretty disappointed. On a whim, we decided to pivot and get PADI certified instead—and choosing Bali Diving turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Bali Diving was absolutely amazing. They were able to fit us in starting the very next day, handled all transportation from our hotel to the pool and dive sites, and even included lunch, which made everything completely stress-free. Our instructor, Ketut, was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about diving. In just three days, we became PADI Open Water certified. The value was incredible; in the U.S., this would have cost at least four times as much and taken significantly longer. We would 100% recommend Bali Diving to anyone considering getting certified or diving in Bali. When we return, we fully plan on diving with them again!

We had an excellent beginner dive session at Padang Bai with them. Mr Eka, our instructor, was very helpful and instructed us well. He helped us get comfortable in the water before diving deeper, took our photos, and in general, was very careful to ensure we had a safe and enjoyable dive. For a first time dive, this was excellent.

Diving with Manta Rays at Nusa Penida and drift diving. Had an amazing experience, guide had 20 years experience and knew the locations well, where to find the mantas and how to make the most of the drift dives. Gear was in good condition, boat was safe and big enough for crew and divers to feel comfortable, would book again.
