After hesitating between several places offering day passes, I finally chose this one with the Golden Access Pass — and I definitely made the right choice! We had a wonderful day. It wasn’t crowded at all, the pool was beautiful, and the warm jacuzzi was a real highlight. The pass included IDR 1.3M credit to spend on food and drinks, as well as 4 complimentary cocktails (instead of the bottle of wine). The food was also very good. The view is absolutely stunning, and the live guitar and violin music made the atmosphere even more special. The staff were fantastic throughout the day. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Kayon Jungle Resort in the Jungle Pool Villa. The resort is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a peaceful, secluded escape. The private pool was pleasantly warm, making it enjoyable at any time of the day.What truly stood out was the exceptional guest experience, which surpassed any luxury hotel we have stayed at. We celebrated our anniversary and were delighted by the thoughtful touches, including a beautiful swan setup, flower bath, and celebratory cake.A special thank you to our butlers, Ida and Adi, who were professional, respectful, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We had a wonderful vacation at The Kayon Jungle Resort. We came here for a holiday , and the place truly exceeded our expectations. The resort is peaceful, and the pool area is stunning. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and hospitable. We also highly appreciated the excellent customer service. We dined at the KePiTu restaurant; the food was fantastic—both the presentation and the flavors were superb. The Asian Beef BBQ was a standout, with the meat cooked to perfection and an incredibly delicious sauce. Amazing experience at Nandini! All the staff are so friendly and passionate. Service is superb and the resort is full of happy vibes. Room is clean with a big balcony facing the jungle. Spa is extraordinary at riverside where you can relax with the sound of waterfall,river flowing and birds chirping. Will definitely come back

Our family had an absolutely flawless stay at this resort! The hospitality was incredible, from the staff’s warm greeting to helping us plan our travel. We loved every bit of it—especially the steep but beautiful landscape (made easy by the funicular!), the relaxing spa massage, and the fantastic food and tea at the restaurant. Spending time by the river and in the jacuzzi made our vacation unforgettable. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience at Nandini Jungle Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and thoughtful service. He was friendly, professional, and made the journey much more enjoyable with his fascinating stories about Balinese history and how Hinduism became the majority religion in Bali. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay. We were received and assisted very well by the staff, especially by Galuh who was attentive and gave us many tips for our trip in Ubud! The outdoor bath and natural swimming pool were very nice. The breakfast was delicious as well. The location is a bit more secluded, which is normal for the nature views, so renting a scooter is recommended.

This was a once in a lifetime experience! My partner and I stayed in their Dome Tent with a hammock. We were worried we would feel too hot, but the fan provided was super powerful and kept us cool for the whole stay. Extra blankets are provided so you can curl up in the hammock. Stunning views right outside the tent, and we were even visited my a couple fireflies! The food was stunning, highly recommend their pancakes and nasi goreng. The staff were super friendly and happy to arrange transport to our next hotel too. The location has a bunch of small local businesses, we did a silver class and coffee farm tour which we loved!

The place is quiet, serene, and really well taken care off! It only has limited amount of rooms, which makes it even more exclusive and peaceful! The host has really put heart into making this place perfect for a short or longer stay, with beautiful views of a jungle and the nearby rice fields! Their staff prepared for us breakfast on our needs which was delicious! Pancake, nasi goreng, wedang, and fruit bowl with yoghurt. We left the Tanah Lot temple around 5:30-6 and reached here around 10pm, driving non-stop, so hungry at the time we arrived, asked the ower if the kitchen stil open to make us something to eat, the owner happily replied sure… i loved this place, i booked it right away the first time i see it, the experience to sleep here is amazing and very adventurous… my private taxi driver loved it, so are we, the food is amazing, the bed is compfy, have private toilet for your tent…

Bali Jungle Camp is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a different side of Bali. Although it’s located quite far from Denpasar, the journey is absolutely worth it. Tucked away in a peaceful area of Pupuan, this hidden gem offers beautiful natural scenery, fresh mountain air, and a quiet atmosphere that’s becoming harder to find. It has a unique healing vibe that feels very different from the usual Bali experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I also really enjoyed the food, everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Overall, Bali Jungle Camp is a place I’d happily visit again. If you love nature, peaceful surroundings, and meaningful experiences, this is definitely a place worth adding to your Bali itinerary🥰

The location is decent but not exceptional. Unfortunately, the stay was not for me — I checked out shortly after checking in. The welcome drink was fine, but the room assigned was far from the cabin, making it feel more like preparing for a vertical climb marathon than a relaxing holiday in nature.I had planned to stay for two nights, but realized there was no point. I requested a room closer to the entrance, but that option had no fan or AC, and the staff declined my request to move a fan from the cabin. The non‑refundable policy is smartly in place, so I had no choice but to consider the money as a donation towards nature and hopefully its maintenance.There are other similar places that are more accessible and friendly, which you may want to consider. Hopefully, others have a different experience than mine. All the best — and credit to the management for the non‑refundable policy.These are my personal views, and others may feel differently. However, I would advise reconsidering this place if you have knee issues or require assistance, as the steep climbs can be challenging.

Their team is available 24/7 on WhatsApp, which made communication very easy and convenient.I stayed in The Cave room and highly recommend it. The atmosphere of the hotel is magical, the food is great with a nice variety, and the staff are extremely kind and attentive. They paid attention to every detail and made sure our stay was comfortable. Best experience I ever had, from the moment I checked in until I checked out. The decorated my bed with special words I requested. Floating breakfast included. Bed was super comfortable. Tv had Netflix, prime and even Disney plus. The butler service was amazing. I thank you guys for making my experience the best. If I could stay here for a month I would. Looks like exactly like the photos online. Small little ants but it won’t ruin your trip. Bring after bite! And mosquito spray and you’re living lavish

Cancelled my booking 60 days in advance, yet was refused a refund because the deadline was based on the hotel’s local timezone rather than the guest’s. I missed it by only a few hours. If this were a last-minute cancellation, I’d understand, but this was two months ahead. Any reputable and customer-focused organisation would have made a reasonable exception. Rigidly hiding behind a technicality like this feels petty and reflects poorly on the business. I wouldn’t recommend staying with an organisation that operates this way.

Thank you again for making our Bali trip so special 🙏 Also a little tip for people visiting Bali for the first time: don’t throw toilet paper or anything else into the toilet, as this is very common here and can cause plumbing issues. It was different for us at first, but you get used to it quickly. The villa really felt like living in the middle of the jungle, which made the experience even more special. But if you are very uncomfortable with animals or nature, this type of villa might not be for you — seeing geckos around is completely normal in Bali 🙈💗🥥🏝️

Very peaceful stay in Ubud. Having breakfast or working on the terrace was great. The bed is very comfortable and the family running the place is lovely. Highly recommend. The whole neighbourhood is special, with traditional balinese houses, rice fields and some good restaurants nearby. Perfect if you want to relax and feel close to nature.

We are very pleased to say that Nyoman and his family were very accommodating and helpful. The picture on the internet were the same. Easy transportation access, good food! 10 minutes from ubud center, it’s along the way to various scenic drive and tourist destinations such as Tirta empul, monkey forest, coffee farm with the giant swing! I would really recommend this villa! Very serene! It’s literally in the jungle! We will definitely come back and stay here.|

It’s the kind of peace that fills your heart. But what truly makes this place special are the people. Nyoman, Putu, and Wayan were some of the kindest souls I’ve met — always smiling, always thoughtful. They made me feel so cared for. Every morning, they’d prepare a delicious homemade breakfast, share stories and tips about Ubud, and even offered to include some of my clothes in their laundry for free. My room was cleaned daily, even when I didn’t ask — they just quietly took care of everything. The villa is also a short 5-minute walk from the Pyramids of Chi, and the walk itself is so lovely since you’ll be passing by beautiful rice fields. Absolutely loved my stay at Secluded Jungle Villa in Ubud. The terrace faced a stunning garden and jungle, creating the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Nyoman and his family were warm and attentive, making me feel like part of the family. Breakfast was excellent, and the villa is wonderfully quiet, ideal for reading or working. A good warung is nearby, and renting a scooter allowed quick access to nearby rice fields and central Ubud.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nyoman and his wife are always smile and show their caring to guests. The room is nice with huge bathroom – the yard is calm and always beautiful. Just spend the day watch tree leaves and listen to nature sounds are so peaceful. I had a good time here 😌

Location is king. The hotel management takes exceptionally good care of the rainforest and nature around. It’s like being in a movie about nature. The room is not a room but an independent hut. The cheapest one doesn’t have AC, but in this part of the mountain it wasn’t necessary at night, not even in summer.The staff is very kind and attentive. Excellent service. The WiFi doesn’t reach all huts though. Something they can work on. But that’s great for disconnecting, and it works in reception area

Exceptional location. I’ve never before stayed in such a magical place. It’s inside the jungle, respecting nature by leaving trees where they are, and building surrounding the rocks. It’s independent huts, each some distance away from the other. Couldn’t be more peaceful, perfect for meditation amd nature exploration. The staff is the sweetest, kindest and most attentive. They cleaned my hut every day, leaving fresh water bottles and everything tidy. The restaurant has only a few options, but what they offer is delicious. I stayed in April and I was practically alone

Would not recommend this accommodation. Advertised photos are not accurate with pool and yoga room looking like they haven’t been cleaned in years. We stayed for an hr and then left. Difficult to access for vehicles so you are required to climb a steep driveway to the main road before you can call your own taxi.

Overall my experience there was allright. I booked the smallest hut wich was not very clean when i arrived, cogwebs everywhere had to clean it myself, the duvet was moldy wich is actually crazy! It was replaced after i put it out on the balcony. And i didn’t have hot water. The location is absolutly stunning it’s a beautiful place if it would be better maintained. I think you can have a good time there, just don’t book the small hut! Or maybe they gave me the worst one of the huts. Might be also less clean and less looked after because i came in off season but yeah that’s no excuse…

It was an amazing resort with top notch service! We felt pampered by the staff, especially our butler Ciwa. I rated location as 5 stars because we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle. There were some good warungs nearby. As it is located in a ‘magical jungle’ surrounded by awesome nature, you also should expect some bugs around. There was a great selection of breakfast and the staff went out of their way to accede to our special request. 🤩 Highly recommended for anyone who wants a serene holiday surrounded by nature!

We stayed at the Magical Jungle resort for 5 nights during our honeymoon in Bali.|Absolutely beautiful place where every little detail is well thought out. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Afternoon tea each day was such a nice touch. Service and the staff were absolutely incredible and made it the best possible stay for us. Nothing was ever an issue. Slightly out of main Ubud but that wasn’t an issue for us. They do put on a shuttle if you needed it to get down to Ubud. Clean and tidy. Would highly recommend to everyone. Stunning views from the villa. Very quiet and peaceful, even though there were other guests there we never saw them/heard them which made us feel like we were the only ones there. The room is cleaned daily at a time that suited us.|The spa was lovely. They also can organise tours for you if you need to which we did not try out as had a private driver.|We did not want to leave!|Magical Jungle Resort really felt like paradise.

Great stay! We stayed in the one/two bedroom villa and it was clean and beautiful. Staff was excellent, had a late check in due to flights and Evan and Agus were great helps. Cleanings and staff going the extra mile made it memorable. Very nice and quiet spot to head into Ubud and neighboring areas, as well as to stay in and enjoy amenities.

Mixed feelings Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay Pro : 1) beautiful big rooms with attached infinity pool2) high ceiling and double storey. Very grand3) wonderful in room breakfast 4) Jaccuzi in both bedrooms 5) Netflix and YouTube are paid for 6) very friendly services 7) shutter car to Ubud town centre 8) Sensatia branded amenties. 9) quick WiFi 10) water steamer to iron the clothes 11) free mini bar drinks Con 1) no conditioner given 2) the shower handle doesn’t point down enough. And the water was sprayed all over the toilet 3) lots of ants! But they don’t attack the food or you. I do suggest you check your bed before sleeping in it 4) on one of the nights, many huge bees flew into the room despite all doors and windows closed 5) the location is quite deep into the one of a small roads. No way you can walk to the hotel without taxi 6) the aircon is built inside the toilet. That’s a really weird location. Fortunately the room is still sufficiently cooled 7) first 5 star hotel that I don’t see any clothes hanger inside the cabinet Suggestion 1) provide conditioner and clothes hanger 2) better ants control and pest control from entering the rooms 3) disposable slippers rather than reusable 4) bigger dustbins and more dustbins. 5) provide hand soap at the kitchen sink

We had the most amazing stay at the magic jungle resort. We would 100% recommend. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and go above and beyond. Our room was beautiful, very clean with incredible views. The hotel is peaceful and quiet. We had the romantic candle light dinner package, the food was fantastic and the set up was lovely. Changi jungle ubud villas was a hidden gem that we found while randomly scrolling on Google maps. It is a very new property and everything is exactly as shown in pics. Actually maybe it’s even better than in pics. Staff team were extremely friendly and always prompt to respond for any issues. Rent scooter from them directly as they have them in very good condition and are at par in terms of price to local rentals in ubud. Location also was perfect as its very close to ubud center and still a little far to enjoy peace.

Amazing service and a really really beautiful stay!! Everyone was very nice and welcoming, we really felt at ease throughout our stay. Unfortunately we had a problem with the bathroom lights on our first day but the staff was very quick to fix the problem so we’re super thankful about the staff’s attentiveness. Will definitely recommend for those looking for a beautiful stay in ubud and especially those who love nature! Since the rooms are located near a jungle, ants, dragon flies, etc. are to be expected. This doesn’t hinder my experience though, but just be prepared for those who doesn’t like unexpected guests to be around you 😂

Having traveled internationally at least twice annually for the last 40 years, stayed in countless high-quality hotels and villas, our stay at the Changi Jungle Ubud Villas was and will remain the most memorable.||First, if you are like us, who prefer a quiet and serene location, yet is within proximity to central Ubud, Changi is unbeatable. Under normal traffic conditions, it takes about a 5-minute drive (about 2 KM) to get to downtown Ubud (where the Sacred Monkey Forest is located pretty near to). Plus, it is strategically located just off the same road that leads to Tegalalang Rice Terrace (about a 15 to 20-minute drive to the North). Plus, the beautiful Kanto Lampo Waterfall and the Empul Temple are easily reachable within an hour’s drive.||Second, the quality of the villas (cleanliness, linens, bedding, drapery, room layout, landscaping) is unquestionably top-notch. We stayed in two different villas, the Pool View and the Jungle View villas, and we must commend that both are designed, built, and pampered with passion. Definitely worth noting is that the villas are furnished with super high-quality, solid-wood furniture, which is super rare even for a top-class ski or golf resort in the USA. Even the safes provided in the villas come with a key, and not with just a keypad.||Third, the hospitality of Changi surpassed all my expectations. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the owner, Mr. Wayang, and his staff. Mr. Wayang and his staff were genuinely welcoming and treated us like good friends, and not simply guests. Every time, having a very good and high-context conversation with Mr. Wayang was a natural thing. That sort of friendly connection, believe me, was both priceless and precious. We checked out from Changi, knowing that Mr. Wayang and us will remain friends forever. ||Fourth, and most importantly, the price-quality ratio that Changi offered was supreme. Despite having paid a high-season price for our stay (we checked in on New Year’s Eve), we still regarded what we paid as truly worth every dollar. The next Villa that we checked in after leaving Changi, near Empul Temple, was rated higher on Agoda and Hotels.com and more expensive. But, we did not feel as enjoyable nor comfortable in that next Villa, and we missed our stay at Changi very much the whole time.||If we ever return to Ubud again, we will definitely stay only at Changi Jungle Ubud Villas.

I had a good stay in here. Lovely jungle view accompanied with squirrels and fireflies at night. Breakfast is good, there is a kettle so you can make coffee or tea while enjoying the view from the balcony. The location is quite isolated in penestanan area, but worth the calmness and serenity if you want to escape from Ubud crowd. The staffs are pretty nice and helpful too. PS. The room can get quite hot at noon (probably the AC) And yes you need a lot of walking to get here, but the staff will pick you and help with the luggage. I personally don’t mind walking, the neighbourhood is pretty and the people are nice.

We appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the staff — they were truly very nice and welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful, very refreshing, and lush green, which made the stay pleasant in terms of atmosphere. However, the facilities of the villa need improvement. The doors could not be properly closed, the roof was leaking, and there were moldy walls. The air conditioning was very dirty, the linens were not clean, and the bed was not comfortable. With proper maintenance and upgrades to the villas, this place has great potential because of its natural beauty and warm staff.

Amazing service from all the staff, super clean rooms! We went out for the day and came back to a freshly made bed and fresh linen without having to ask as we had forgotten to! Absolutely stunning location, super peaceful and natural considering it’s in Ubud centre! Highly recommend

Our stay at The Jungle Villa was truly a unique experience. The atmosphere of the rainforest is absolutely incredible — you really feel immersed in nature while still enjoying comfort. The villa itself was clean and well-maintained, including both the cottage and the bathroom. One of the biggest advantages is the peaceful location, far from the busy streets of Ubud. Despite that, getting around is very convenient — the staff provides excellent service, including scooter pickup from the parking area near Tygr Sushi on the main road. They will transport your luggage and even drive you if needed. The pool overlooking the jungle is stunning, surrounded by huge trees — easily one of the highlights of the stay. Even though the path to the villa is a bit narrow, there’s no need to worry. In fact, since the villa is the last one on the street, it guarantees extra privacy and quiet. We also appreciated small but thoughtful amenities like a hairdryer, kettle, mosquito repellent plug, and a mosquito net around the bed — we had no issues with mosquitoes at all. The jungle was surprisingly calm at night, so earplugs weren’t necessary. The terrace was perfect for enjoying a peaceful morning coffee. The location is also great — about a 30-minute walk or 10-minute ride to central Ubud (Saraswati Temple). There are also two nice restaurants and cafés right on the street. The staff helped us organize a trip to Mt. Batur and offered luggage storage, which was very convenient. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, with a choice of a few menu options plus coffee or tea (toast, butter, jam, etc.). The bathroom was spacious, while the bedroom was a bit smaller, but it didn’t bother us. The only downside was that the bed linen, although clean, felt a bit older and worn. Overall, this is an ideal place for a honeymoon or a peaceful jungle retreat. We would definitely love to come back.

– Absolutely filthy place, rat poo on the light switch, floor and shower handle, mosquito nets around the bed full of holes and stains, fridge was caked in dirt, under the beds were thick of dirt with used cotton buds, water bottles and toilet roll tubes under them ||- The bathroom was absolutely pouring with rain due to a leak above the shower and we didn’t want to take a shower with cold dirty water dripping on us, it also dripped on us whilst we used the toilet. We reported the problem at 9:30am, waited in all day because we kept being told a friend was coming to fix it in ‘after breakfast’, ‘in 30 minutes’, ‘in 15 minutes’ but it was actually 4pm before someone came. Only after we complained to booking.com did they offer to move us but the only room available was not suitable. They refused to offer any discount on our stay despite not being able to use the shower, wasting our entire day waiting for them, and the inconvenience of then having to book another hotel and travel there ||- Didn’t answer their phone when we first arrived leaving us stood in the rain in the dark waiting to be picked up. When they eventually answered and came for us we had to get on the back of a scooter with no helmet, cars can’t get near the property ||- Staff we dealt with spoke very little English ||- The door was very hard to lock and even when locked there were large gaps either side and the bottom hinge on one door wasn’t attached, it would be very easy to break in and for animals to get in ||- Breakfast very basic, reusable straws clearly hadn’t been cleaned (see pictures)
