Entire experience was great! Ed and Roi were fun to be around and easy to learn from, accommodations were incredible and the fishing was tons of fun and also pretty productive. Would highly recommend doing this if you’re into spearfishing at all!

I highly recommend the blue water trip for Spearos of all abilities. I booked the trip and then added two extra days! As an intermediate spearo I learnt a lot about Bluewater fishing and shot some dream fish. Ed and the team were amazing in the water, helping out where needed but also allowing me to be independent in the water. The trip allowed other guys in the group to shoot their first fish which was amazing to see! Every part of of our stay was taken care of which made it easy to relax in the water and focus on spearfishing. The fresh fish dinners really made the trip! Cheers team, I’ll be back

I am a regular freediver and the spearfishing course was incredible. Every single person on the team is so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. For freediving in Bali, or spearfishing in Bali, this is the way to go! Ed had amazing knowledge and experience, Evan was incredibly helpful and worked with me to work out a last minute trip, and everyone else I met from the team was phenomenal. I feel like I have awesome skills to bring along with me because of this course, and group. Had a fun dive day practicing with Aquatic Apes! Thanks Ed for being super patient with us and gave us new knowledge. Great service for the trip, we felt very well taken care of. The location of the diving school is also great so we can eat, relax and hang around after the practice. Cool, helpful and super friendly staff they even invited us for their BBQ night! Definitely will come and practice again with you guys!

Gus and the crew were awesome. Treated us like family. Me and my friend were very beginner. They taught everything we need to know. And then we cooked up the fish after and it was very good great experience.

We went out spearfishing with Gus today. It was amazing. I could not recommend him more. Gus and his crew are so friendly, and truly passionate spearos. They made us feel like friends rather than clients. They supplied all the spearfishing equipment necessary, which was high quality gear. It was super easy to communicate with them, as the crew speak very good english. I loved chatting to the crew, hearing their stories, and experiencing their way of life. The fish bbq at the end is a must. The food is incredible and once again, getting to talk to the boys was really special. You won’t regret booking a trip with Gus. Without a doubt the best spearfishing experience in Bali ! I have been on 3 trips with Eric and these days will always remain in my memory ! Eric is the best guy in Bali, we had an amazing time with him ! Everything was well organized, all equipment was high quality, the diving spots were full of fishes and rates are affordable ! I would recommend 1000% and will do it again !

I had an incredible experience with Big Tooth Spearfishing. Hands down, one of the best coaches I’ve ever had! Super calm, very composed, and always giving top-notch advice. Our first session was quite ringan (easy-going), but unfortunately, we didn’t see much, and I missed a fish. However, since I had mentioned that I hadn’t had much luck spearfishing in Indonesia, he went above and beyond—taking me to a secret spot a week later. And wow, what a day! We had an absolute dream catch—around 20 fish, totaling 25-30kg. One of the best memories of my life. Honestly, I can’t recommend him enough. I’ve had multiple spearfishing coaches in Indonesia, and he’s by far the best. If you’re looking for an amazing spearfishing experience, this is the place!

Best guides, equipment, and spots. Perfect if youre a seasoned spearo, but also beginner friendly and they offer beginner classes too. And probably the most comfortable jukungs (traditional boats) Ive been on.

Had the most amazing three day diving trip in north Bali. Such an incredible experience to be able to dive the fads. The guides were very good and helped me with loading the speargun. The equipment was all high quality. Totally worth the money for this once in a lifetime experience. We were also lucky enough to see a whale shark!

Everything was extremely well planned and detailed from start to finish. Azwar did an incredible job teaching me and my group how to spearfish and properly use all the equipment. He made sure everything was safe, clear, and done the right way, which made the whole experience even better. What made it even crazier is after we were done, he caught us 8 fish and cooked them for us — and it was SO good. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had out here. If you’re in Bali, this is a must do. Had an amazing time with Indo spearfishing trip! Peter and his crew was super chill and really knew their stuff. They made me feel safe and comfortable the whole time, and we hit some great spots. The water was incredible and I actually got a few good catches, Spanish mackerel and kale kale trevally. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had out on the water.
