Paradise Pros: Such a hidden gem in Ubud, very peaceful and quiet, no noises besides the jungle but walking distance from Ubud center or 15 min Grab car ride. The place is absolutely beautiful and pristine.. The staff so caring .. Cons: The pool could have a different filter system than chloride to be chemical free. The small fridge is not cooling enough so I had to throw away lots of fruits. There are steeper steps to reach the property, you have to have good mobility to walk up/down.

Great, quite stay Pros: This was our third stay and we love the location and staff and accommodation in our villa. It’s a pick for Bali and Ubud. Cons: Some maintaining could be improved upon – less this start to distract from a great resort

The reception area, in particular, felt quite rustic and was uncomfortably warm due to the lack of air conditioning or fans. While this may seem like a minor detail, it’s worth noting as it forms guests’ first impression upon arrival. Additionally, one of the villas shares an entrance with another, so it doesn’t offer complete privacy—something to keep in mind if full seclusion is important to you. Finally, although we understand the villa’s proximity to a jungle setting, we did notice a higher presence of wildlife indoors compared to other properties. We even had a resident gecko that left droppings in the same spot each day—manageable, but worth mentioning for future guests/maintenance staff.

This is our second visit to beautiful Villa Purnama- and we will be coming back again! Beautiful super spacious villa with plenty of extra room for all; it is right on a lovely black sand beach, has a beautiful Balinese temple on one side, views of Mt Agung on the other, rice fields on the third. You can sit and enjoy the views and the breeze all day! Secluded, quiet and peaceful yet close to Sanur, Ubud if you want activity. The staff are wonderful, the host very responsive, all in all we had a great time.

Beautiful ocean view property with spacious living spaces. The 4 bedrooms are large with large closets & bathrooms. The pool and lower level lounge area were favorites. The house staff was very friendly, and saw to our every request with kindness. The staff was a pleasure to get to know. They cooked our catch of fish to perfection. We would highly recommend this property. The house was wonderful but the staff were AMAZING!

The house is enormous with amazing views of beach and countryside. The staff are helpful and worked very hard to make our stay the best it could be. The house is very close to the ocean and beach is not suitable for swimming owing to it being rough – but the sparkling pool is really excellent and so clean.

Beautiful villa by the sea…

#128577; The location is great by the beach but the sea isn’t one where you can swim. The upside is that it’s quiet. It’s also but far from every good bali attraction. The villa driver is not recommended. It comes at a premium in cost but service is sub standard . The driver we had was not keen to take us to Ubud instead pushed tourist trap shops in the neighbourhood, versus the real shops that one would like to go explore .

Super nice villa within walking distance of Ubud. The owner and cleaning lady was super friendly and helpful. The village is pretty and quite with plenty of good restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Would love to come back.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. My partner and I wanted somewhere quiet to stay in central Bali, and Villa LeoNora was the perfect spot. The villa is exactly as pictured and it was plenty spacious enough for the two of us. It’s right on the edge of the monkey forest, but you do not get any cheeky visitors in the family compound that the villa is nestled in. The Manager, Kadek, was attentive and amenable to our needs. He provided us with a wealth of information on local breakfast/dining spots, nice walks, nearby shops and markets, and so much more. You’re a legend Kadek, we loved staying with you. We were messaged daily to confirm room cleaning times for the following day and the staff worked around our schedule the entire stay. Fresh bathroom, beach towels and minibar restocked daily. Pretty flowers placed each day, whether at the doorway, filling ash trays, or tastefully placed throughout the villa, this just added to the zen serenity of the place. It was a nice touch. There are 2 villas in the complex, Villa Leo and Villa Nora. We were in Nora and were lucky enough to have no neighbours for 6 of our 8 night stay. It was luxurious having a whole pool and outdoor space to ourselves. My advice to anyone staying there is to make sure you buy a SIM and get an app called «grab», it is Balinese Uber and really helped us with getting in and out of Ubud on our many forays of exploration.

Host Kadek was friendly and welcoming. Our queries and messages were promptly answered. Kadek arranged a driver for us who was brilliant in assisting us back and forth to town as the villa is approx 30mins drive from town. The villa was overall clean and comfortable and we all enjoyed our stay.The only negative was that we found the pillows to be very heavy and quite hard. A couple of softer pillows in each room would have been nice.

Overall good. Pros: Ona our Villa Host was very responsive. The pool was clean. Pretty complete kitchen and pantry utensils. Nice cafes around within walking distance or they can send to our villa which is very convenient. Location of villa is through a very narrow road but most local driver will know how to navigate in and out. Cons: TV in Room 2 was not working. The living room area feels a little small and incomplete where there’s no TV at that area for us to gather around and watch TV together. Lack a little comfy cozyness in the center of it. Not complete with bathroom essentials like dental kit and shower cap.

Prachtige jungle villa, waar je echt tot rust kan komen Pros: Mooie accommodatie, waar je echt het gevoel hebt midden in de jungle te zitten. Helaas wordt er naast de villa flink gebouwd. Dit hoor je. Gaf geen grote overlast, maar het is er wel. Verder zie je dat de accommodatie wel al wat achterstallig onderhoud heeft. Maar overal is het een prachtige plek. Cons: De weg naar de accommodatie is slecht, maar gelukkig hadden de grab drivers er geen probleem mee.

#128578; This villa was absolutely the highlight of our holiday to Bali. Our housekeeper Yuli was amazing. We did not even know we’d have our own housekeeper at this villa when we booked, so this was an absolute delight. She cooked great Indonesian meals, went to do our groceries, cleaned the place and helped us around with basically anything and everything. The villa is located in a remote area where you won’t find alot of tourists. The road towards the villa was already a fairytale. Driving …
#128577; When we arrived there was no staff available anymore and it was tough to get some food and drinks. Luckily we were able to order something with GRAB. As soon as the sun goes down, you will be attacked by mosquitoes. Make sure you bring anti-mosquito spray. The beds are WAY too hard. Waking up with backpain in the morning is not a great way to start the day.

#128578; Breakfast was prepared on site by a worker and was what we asked for. The place is away from traffic and usual disturbing urban noise so very quiet and relaxing place. Ideal for private vacation with family and friends. Prices were also very ok for extra services like massage, which we ordered in the villa and scooter rental.

We stayed at the Villa Lilly in March. We were picked up at the airport and had a scenic 2,5 h drive to the villa. We enjoyed to see wonderful rice fields, monkeys lakes and local people. When we arrived to the villa we had a warm welcome by the stuff. we enjoyed the beautiful tropical garden rich with mango trees, palm trees and frequent colorful flowers. The villa was very clean and spacious. Every room has it’s own bathroom and a direct view to the ocean. We liked to watch the ocean from our bed! In the morning we had tasty breakfasts on the terrace, after that we had a swim in the pool. My wife was very satisfied with the massage. Food was delicious and excellent, professionally prepared and served. The organization was excellent, we were treated with love and respect. We are planning to come again.

A lovely house with enough space. The pool and garden are very nice and well kept. On walking distance there are some nice restaurants on the beach. View from the house overlooking rice fields and the ocean is great. Beach is a little dirty sometimes. Staff are wonderful. Kikkut and Koman made our stay even more memorable by arranging breakfast and dinner which we all enjoyed. Their speciality ‘schnitzel’ was nice as an alternative to the nasi and rendang dishes (which were also very nice)! Also special thanks to the manager for arranging excursions, taxi’s and more. You do need a car to get around. Nice secluded place in north bali!

Villa Lilly is the ideal place to relax. My friend and me enjoyed the full luxury, privacy and tranquility that surrounded us. The helpful, kind hardworking stuff was always at our service greeting us with a warm smile. The food was outstanding. we enjoyed to discover Indonesian specialties prepared with love. We adored to swim in the clean pool and to sunbath on the decking. This holiday will is the most luxurious in our memory. We will never forget the fun we had. The tours were great showing the beauty of Bali.

My daughter and I, brother, and niece spent 10 days at Lilly’s villa on the North side of Bali. Having never been to Bali, I was a little worried this location on the North side might be a bit remote. Now I’m convinced this exactly where you want to be in Bali. Spend a day or so around Denpasar and then head to this paradise about half an hour west of Lovina. Stop at the incredible temple on the lake, high in the mountains between the villa and Denpasar. The Villa is beautiful, fairly new, and very well maintained. The pool is actually larger than it looked to me in the pictures. The ocean views are as described – incredible. The staff were all wonderful, we were happy to get to know them and very honored when we were invited to their temple (I had expressed a strong interest in hearing more Gamelan and there was a performance that night). The house manager speaks English well, the rest of the staff speaks a little; we had lots of fun (or at least they humored me) with google translate to discuss dinner plans, etc. We ate their Balinese cooking every day we were there and the food was delicious. We had a minor scheduling mishap during our planning and Lilly and I were able to work out a great solution together. There are several easy day trips to take from the Villa, probably the best one for us was the Menjangan island snorkeling. Some of the best snorkeling in the world, in some ways better than the Great Barrier Reef. I wished we had gone twice that week or at least done a third snorkel that day. I think the morning trips to see the dolphins might be suffering from popularity – a little too many boats out there. There are also beautiful and historic temples nearby, including a small one immediately between the villa and the beach (but not open to public). We alternated between days of snorkeling, temples, and tourism and days of enjoying the Villa and our holiday. If you have never been to Bali, be prepared for (once you get out of some competitive Denpasar markets) an island full of kind people, surrounded by Hindu (and a little Buddhist) temples and spirituality. And I recommend you stay at Villa Lilly.

We stayed 10 days in this lovely villa. The villa is clean and spacious, the garden absolutely stunning. Location is a bit secluded, we knew this when we booked. Communication with the villa owner before arriving was just perfect.The staff on location is just lovely and very helpfull. Cooking is very good. We went on a several nice trips, most of them arranged by the staff. Also had some spa treatments at the house, which made the relaxing character of this holiday complete. We definetely recommend this villa, if you are looking for a clean and beautiful house and perfect kept garden, with kind staff, in this lovely region of Bali.

We had the best time in this amazing villa. Staff were wonderful and cooked us delicious. Location is a little remote (1/2 hour west of Lovina) but our friendly driver took us everywhere we wanted to go at very reasonable cost. Diving and snorkelling at Menjangan island a highlight. Also highly recommended the trip on a fishing boat to see dolphins at sunrise with pick up from the beach by the villa. All in all a wonderful holiday!

This was our first trip to Bali and we stayed for over 3 weeks at the villa Brongbong Rimba. We enjoyed every day! The villa itself is beautiful, most of the time we chilled at the pool. The plant, trees, flowers – an incredible setting to get some silence and simply enjoy the time. We also did a number of trips to different locations in Bali like Ubud, dolphin tour, different waterfalls, temples, rice field. The staff always helped us to organize the driver or make the time at the villa more perfect. For every meal of the day we could chose and define What we want to eat. Everything very delicious! All of the staff was always kind and they try to stay in the background. We simply had incredible holidays and we can only recommend everybody to spend some nights here to feel special.

This property looks even better than the photographs in the listing. The booking and payment process was easy with no problems and I had good contact with the owner before departing the Netherlands for Bali. My sister and her husband came from Australia and we just wanted to relax and spend precious time together since we live on opposite sides of the world. The Villa was perfect! The staff are wonderful. Having a a cook was a beautiful bonus and the staff were very helpful – nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness of the Villa was excellent with beautiful furnishings throughout adding to the wonderful ambiance of the Villa. We spent all of our time outside by the pool and ate all of our meals outside – it was wonderful and relaxing and we were very sad to leave once our stay had finished. The outside room on poles is an area set up for Spa treatments. Massages, Manicures, Pedicures etc. The on call staff come to the villa to complete the treatments. They were extremely professional and hygienic. The Villa is perfect for families, friends or couples so if you are looking for a place to relax and be pampered – then this is the place for you !

Our trip started with a small hickup, as the arranged driver didn’t appear. The problem was quickly solved and we were offered a great compensation. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The house was all decorated with flowers. The house is very nice, beds and pillows are very comfortable – staff would prepare the room for the night every day, small detail that made us feel special. The pool was used almost round the clock by the kids, magical! We chose to have most meals at home, which was very well organized and always tasty. The staff also helped us to book tours and other services, always with smiles. The only little minus I can think of is the location, as the beach is not that nice. This is however very relative since we come from a land of beautiful beaches. Our objective was quiet and relaxing vacation and we the house achieved 100% of our expectations. For different and beautiful beaches, one can take a tour every other day and explore the north of Bali. On the way back via Ubud our driver offered an amazing detour including all touristic hotspots like amazing views from the lakes, tasting of Bali coffers including Luwak coffee, temples and the monkey forest. So it couldn’t have ended better! Thanks a lot to Villa Brongbong.
