Lovely experience learning how to make candles and incense. It was a good and very unique way to experience Bali culture, make memories, having fun while learning something as well. The instructor is so patient and easy to follow. You get to take your craft home as well. I mostly enjoyed making thoughtful gifts for my friends🥰🥰Definitely worth a try when you visit Bali

This was such a unique experience. The incense-making process isn’t hard at all, yet it’s incredibly fun. I also loved learning about the raw materials and history of incense sticks from the instructor. I’d highly recommend this workshop for everyone, even kids! The staff here are all incredibly warm and friendly. I had such a joyful, peaceful morning.

Highly recommended to spend some time at this studio during your trip. I feel so lucky to have found them and produced my favorite Bali gifts here! The team is so fun and lovely. We did the incense workshop which was great! You can choose your own scents, they teach you some about the history of incense and guide you on how to roll them step by step. About 1,5 hours start to finish, optional add on to paint your incense burner. If I could give an extra star for the cute kitty I would!

We have a new villa and used Hummingbird to wallpaper all our rooms. We found them extremely professional, well priced and incredibly responsive to requests, questions and changing our minds! They have a great selection of good quality wallpaper to choose from and we also got a custom wall made. Very easy process and clear communication from the team the entire way through to installation. The installation was quick, and well done, they also have great after service. Highly recommend them. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality and service received. I’m extremely happy with the finish. I would absolutely use them again – in fact I will be as we have 2 more projects to decorate!

Had this F-German wallpaper quality material specially flew in from Hummingbird Home Decor, Bali. Love the quality of the printing. Communicated with Rama from the starts. Quoted me both the normal paper and this F-German type of wallpaper. Choose the 2nd one as it was recommended by him. Much thicker than the usual wallpaper that I had previously. Now my kitchen looks fresher and brighter. Thank u.

The variety of work stretches from portraits to fine art along with some really quirky art. All paintings showcased are by family and friends. Unlike Semar Kuning 1, you do not have to negotiate hard here as the prices quoted are reasonable. Must visit before you stop at Semar Kuning 1 which has a bigger portfolio

Beautiful gallery with traditional Balinese art. Very impressive and beautiful paintings. We bought 3 unique paintings that will remind us beautiful Balinese culture. Also Mr Jendra was very polite and patient to explain us everything about history and local culture!

In a dream I heard to go to Bali, I am here for a little iver 3 weeks. I took a painting class with Nyomen Jandar and had a great time. He is a very well knows painter and has many paintings in his gallery. I also bought a painting from him. I will go back everytime I visit Bali.

I found this place while browsing through internet during my last few days in Jakarta before heading back to the US. I was in need of a painting & had to get it in 12 days or less. I had been wanting to replace an old painting with something more Balinese for my living room. I planned to use the same frame I had back home so I did not have to carry a big frame home, I just had to bring the painting. It was hard to find paintings that fit into the frame dimension, so I had to find someone to paint one for me. I was and still am so impressed with not only how the painting turned out, but most of all the quality of service & kindness. Through our long distance conversation (I was in Jakarta & they were in Bali, we never met even once), Bli Putu (the son of Bapak Nyoman Jendra), continued to help me out with all my requests, my questions even though it was last minute. He did this with all courtesy & I could feel his sincerity. He even put his team to work overtime just to make sure he could deliver the painting on time as per my request, with no extra charge. I could not say enough great things about this place. So if you want great paintings with one of a kind service, contact them. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a meeting with Zawra who was recommended to me by our wedding planner, Natalie from Avavi. Frans Decor was recommended to us by our wedding organizer, and it was such a pleasure working with Elizabeth and Ferdinand. I shared our inspiration photos — backyard‑style lighting, colourful spring‑themed florals, and cascading orchids. They captured everything beautifully. The orchids, especially, were exactly how I imagined them. I requested for my personal rosary to be included in my bouquet, which was a very sentimental detail for me, and they honoured it perfectly. They also created a gorgeous welcome sign for our welcome party, and the flat lay styling was stunning. One of my favourite pieces was the personalised painting of Villa Kailasha, which made the whole setup feel even more meaningful. The ceremony florals were arranged so thoughtfully, and I appreciated that they repurposed them for our portrait lounge and welcome area — something that aligned with our values of being sustainable. Our dream long‑table setup came to life, complete with batik napkins to stay true to the Indonesian feel we wanted. Elizabeth and her team’s attention to detail is unmatched. We went through many revisions to make sure everything aligned with our vision, and they delivered beyond what we expected. We truly loved how everything turned out. I walked pass this cute painting shop and then asked the owner if she taught painting she told me with her limited English that her husband is the teacher, so I came back another time and had the best painting session with my friend. He is so skillful and patient with us. The final painting looks amazing! He carefully packed it for my travel tomorrow and waited until 8pm with his wife and two dogs to go home until my grab bike arrived. His soul is as beautiful as his paintings!!! Painting session is 300k IDR per person and I got 250k IDR per person for two! Super amazing experience!!!

Wonderful experience wondering across this little art studio. Very peaceful. Inykasa and his wife are incredible artists of many styles. We bought a couple of incredible paintings and can’t wait to hang them up at home. He gave us his fresh fruit while we waited for him to wrap them up into tubes.

Visiting this shop was one of the highlights of my trip to Ubud. Highly recommend going. What was so special about this art studio compared to others is that Nyoman and his wife were so warm and kind from the moment I walked into the shop, but they were not forceful the way some other shops on that street are. Nyoman has such a gentle soul, he offered me free pomegranates that came from this land. He even cut one up for me on the spot and let me try because it was such a hot day! He was making a paining when I was there and when I showed interest in his technique, he let me try some paint strokes on his almost finished painting! He’s a wonderful artist but truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I bought artwork and fresh cinnamon that he grows in his garden. Absolutely worth going to his studio. Thank you Nyoman!

spent probably an hour here today flipping through paint colours. their range is HUGE, and has quite a number more modern and ‘expensive’ feeling shades than your average paint brand – although, understandably, at a higher price. I want to make a special mention to Mas Gilang who was exceedingly helpful in compiling me a list of all the most affordable versions of all the multiple colours I was looking for. even though I didn’t end up making a purchase today – as I was just collecting paint names and codes for future reference – Mas Gilang did not hesitate to give me as much assistance as he could, regardless of whether a sale was made. A+++, very recommended for paint shopping!
