Best composting services in Bali: find options near you

Amazing experience with ecoBali! 🌱 The team is professional, responsive, and truly committed to sustainability and responsible waste management in Bali. I really appreciate their dedication and the positive impact they bring to the environment and community. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and eco-friendly waste management services ♻️

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. For the past two years I have been trying to establish proper communication with them. My team, my staff, and I repeatedly reach out, but our calls and messages are consistently ignored. Every time it is the same situation, we wait weeks just to receive a simple response, if any at all. And this pattern repeats year after year. This year the situation has become even worse. Since Friday I have been contacting them through every possible channel, and still no response. Absolutely none. It feels like complete disregard and is frankly unacceptable. If this is how they handle basic communication, I can only imagine what their existing clients have to deal with. I strongly do not recommend wasting your time, money, energy, or nerves on this company.

Have used EcoBali Recycling for over 7 years. Last couple years collection and customer Service is getting worse and worse. (3weeks no pick up). Will hopefully adjust this 1* review when a good consistent standard is maintained again. Thank you for your service, look forward to the improvements. Edit** service has improved 😉

I’m glad to see they keep my waste stays sorted from home to their own facility and responsibly managed instead just dump them all to the landfill Thank you ecobali, and keep up the great work for a cleaner Bali✨👌🏻

First week using their service. Already encountered a bad experience. Garbage not being picked up, and when they did, didn’t give us a new bucket for organic waste. Nor did they even bother replying to whsatpp.. They were very responsive before we signed up and paid for 6 months in advance. Waste of time.

Despite multiple attempts to reach them via WhatsApp, there was no response at all—highlighting serious deficiencies in management control and internal accountability. On the rare occasions they did respond, communication was inconsistent and delayed for days.

Poor customer service experience. Services was terminated without prior notice. Had to receive the termination notice from somewhere else instead.

I love that you can compost Your food and not add to the big pile of Bali’s land fill. It will get back to become soil instead. Urban compost is very trustworthy and professional. Always good communication about pick up and delivery. And very good for you who maybe rent a villa and are having a hard time to add a stationary compost – this is such a great solution. Don’t forget they also pick up your garden waste if you need in special big bags. Very Bagus!

A representative actually visited our offices, after inviting Urban Biologist to intro a selection of their unique and advanced ecological services. Their new planned concept of Micro Forests holds much merit and potential. I recommend their biology based approaches for private and business owners seeking new approaches with high communication value.

Amazing! With the home composting service Urban Biologist will provide buckets for you to place organic waste in, and regularly come by to swap out with a clean bucket. Makes me feel great having that much less waste going into the Bali landfill. Thank you!

Used this service twice when I had an excess of garden waste ( I usually compost on site) The service was excellent, well organised, and reasonably priced. Definitely recommended. (If you have inorganic waste: paper, plastic, metal etc for recycling also check out Eco Bali who only handle inorganic.)

I feel verry happy to write this review for Urban Compost, they do a fantastic job in Bali. We used them in our home and I had their corporate sevice assist at a beach club I was running in Canggu. I wish you all the best 🙏

Disappointing. They don’t pickup organic waste in the central Bali area with high population density but only in the touristic areas with low population density

Love their service so much! I love that our organic waste is not ending up in landfills Thank you for making positive change possible and responsible refuse removal possible! 🫶🏼

A very optimally operational sorting and recycling site!! The materials are also source separated and no smell

A community based waste management facility which main goal is diversion from landfill by processing the organic to compost and recovering recyclables materials through sorting.
