Chai Chitai Ubud Tea House & Shisha

Worst tea house of my life!!!! There was MMA projected on the wall for other customers I believe and did not make the experience pleasant and relaxing. Plus there is no tea tasting here which was a shame. The overall environment was very awful and loud however the waiters were nice and attentive. The teas here are bland and tasteless.

I visited Chaichitai UBUD twice. 1) was visiting PARQ and found about this place when I was leaving. 2) tried to order tea inside, yet the vibe wasn't what my friend and I were looking for that night. Even though I was only looking around, the staff here was friendly and informative. The shop also offered a variety of tea and teaware. With the good impression from Chaichitai UBUD, I look forward to visiting Chaichitai Canggu that is more of what my friend and I are looking for. TIPS 1. This shop is located within PARQ, a multi cultural complex that offers events, retail shops, restaurants, etc. It's a beautiful space to walk around and take pictures. There are also free live music event. It's worth to plan together if you are visiting ChaiChitai UBUD. 2. One of the main reason I didn't drink tea at ChaiChitai UBUD was because I enjoy drinking tea as-is without getting interfered with other smoke or incense smell. If you are like me, depending on when you visit, you might not like ordering tea here because this shop has shisha inside. Both time I visited there wee people smoking. Still a cool place to visit if you like tea 🙂

A place you must visit if you’re in Ubud!! Try the fresh heal- tea (strawberry flavor) just delightful !! The place deco is very inviting and very original !

As a big tea lover, I can say that the place has a very cozy, relaxing, and interesting atmosphere — just like any great tea house should. One small thing I wish you could improve is using better tea storage bags and jars that protect the tea from light and UV exposure. High-quality tea like yours deserves proper storage. All the best! 👍
