With a group of friends we had an amazing 8 days Raja Ampat trip. The super friendly crew took us to lonely beaches and super beautiful and empty dive sites. Afri as dive guide took very good care of us and it was the absolute best and diverse diving we have ever experienced! We also stopped at lonely beaches, waterfalls and did two small hikes with stunning views and beautiful fresh water swims in a crystal clear blue river. The cabins were very comfy for good nights sleep. The food was tasty and freshly prepared 3 times a day. We can highly recommend this boat and the crew and plan to return to explore more of Raja Ampat on a second trip!

Just completed a yachting voyage around Raja Ampat, booked through the team at Barefoot Yachts Indonesia. We have just returned from a magical 5 nights aboard Aboya visiting Komodo. I must admit I was a little nervous booking directly but the reviews we read were all consistent with our experience. We loved Aboya and its crew who were all excellent and worked very hard to give us the best possible time - a real luxury to have a boat to ourselves. Riccardo, our cruise director, was very calm, knowledgeable and confidence inspiring- encouraging us to make the most of all the experiences whilst adapting the trip on a day to day basis and taking us to beautiful and less busy areas. The variety of sealife was stunning including manta, turtles, sharks and a rare dugong! Thank you!

We went to Raja Ampat in order to have a diving tour amongst friends and were lucky enough to be doing this on a boat called "A-Boya". It was the most beautiful time you can imagine, exceeding all our expectations by far. The staff was super friendly and professional, always willing to help while at the same time staying very discreetly in the background - something that can make a huge difference when being on a smaller boat for a week I reckon. The food was amazing, too: lots of variety with fresh vegetables and fish. There was also a good variety in terms of activities in the water vs. on land with great hikes that lead to breathtaking sides. Our diving guides Sebas and Afri were super professional, fun, calm and encouraging. For me personally, after a longer break in terms of diving, that was exactly what I needed. Needless to say, the area has not for nothing the reputation of being one of the best in the world - by far the best that I have seen for sure! Would give more stars if I could - thank you so much team Aboya and see you a again 🙂

We’ve just returned from a week long trip on the Mutiara Laut crewed under the very capable hands of Jordan Robb. It’s hard for words to do justice to the incredible week spent travelling through Raja Ampat, diving and snorkelling at many wonderful reefs. The boat is beautiful and very comfortable and the staff so helpful, attentive, friendly and fun. We ate very well and enjoyed big communal meals together as guests. Raja Ampat is an absolute jewel of a place. It abounds in beautiful scenery and stunning seascapes. We saw such a variety of sea life, swam in the midst of beautiful corals, dolphins, turtles, rays etc. It was such a memorable trip, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Big shout out to Barefoot Yachts too. They were impeccable throughout. We were well informed at every stage and Clare Marchant responded swiftly and fully to all my queries big and small.
