Not in a good condition Not well organized/structured Mostly ancient artifacts/objects The architecture is pretty and the best thing about the place. I spend 40 min there and took my time so if your not really interested in ancient artifacts/objects than it's a waste of time. Price 100k adult

The museum is very nice and well presented. It’s not very big, but almost everything is translated into English, which makes it easy to follow and informative. The only thing that bothered me was that outside vendors and unofficial guides are allowed inside, which slightly disrupts the experience and the entrance fee: tourists pay ten times more (100,000 IDR) than locals (10,000 IDR). Overall, it’s still worth a visit, especially if you want a quick and educational stop about Bali’s history and culture.

It's not a big museum, only 1 building had AC, which was the most interesting building to me. The other 3 buildings felt very hot. The garden is very nice. The entry fee (100 rupiah) is a bit high for what it offers. As soon as you buy your ticket, someone will start walking with you and act as your guide without asking you if you want this. If you don't need a guide you can politely decline them, otherwise you will have to pay them a fee at the end.

This so-called museum is seriously overpriced for foreigners, terribly maintained and managed. As a foreigner, you're charged 100k for entrance, but the place is smaller than a football field, with three poorly presented small exhibitions. Many of the exhibits are missing and exhibition boards in shambles. They charge foreigners so much money, yet the English introductions are barely readable. This museum is part of a larger temple complex. You can visit the other part, but as many temples in Indonesia, you need to pay for a sarong and haggle with the guy at the door. This can be quite annoying and a deal breaker for many people. So I reckon just don't go, you don't have to go there in order to see good temples buildings. The place has two entrances, one for tourists, the other for staff. But the one for staff is not guarded at all, which means anyone can just waltz right in and enter the museum grounds without paying! All in all, not recommended at all, and you won't be missing much either.

The museum is not very rich in collection, some display boxes were empty not sure if the item is missing or taken!! It definitely could have been more better, more information about Bali history, ancient artifacts could have been displayed. Moreover, I didn't find my answers that I was looking for. But the buildings are very beautiful and clean yard. I saw a very sick cat, seemed like no one cares about it much. Contacted a local foundation to help, hopefully the poor kitty will get some medical attention. Edit: Kitty did not get any help yet, I tried many ways, someone went but could found the kitty. if someone can spot him kindly try to help please.

A must go place and you will learn a lot about Bali history, rituals tradition etc. 100k per person entrance and another 100k perperson for the tour guide (i think was not necessary but, he presents him self) but for more information i recommend to have one you can ask a lot questions about Bali culture and he explains a lot. A person selling paints and tradional bali calendar or book make sure to bargain starting price is high. All in all we learned a lot about Bali culture and history highly recommended and our Driver said not much people are interested to check the museum probably also due to traffic but nevertheless its a recommended place.
