I couldn’t have asked for a better place to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. The quality of the teachers is exceptional. Every teacher is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about sharing the true essence of yoga. They created a safe and encouraging environment where I felt inspired to grow both as a student and as a future teacher. One of the biggest surprises was the food! The vegan meals were absolutely delicious and far exceeded my expectations. Every meal was fresh, nourishing, and full of flavour. I genuinely looked forward to every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also loved staying in the camper room. It was spacious, cozy, and felt like a little sanctuary after a full day of training. Most importantly, this experience gave me something I never expected—I met friends that I know will be in my life for years to come. The connections we built, the laughter we shared, and the support we gave each other made this journey even more meaningful. This training was so much more than earning a yoga teaching certificate. It was a beautiful journey of learning, self-discovery, and personal growth that I will always treasure. Thank you to all the amazing teachers and staff for creating such a special experience. I will always be grateful, and I wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone considering a yoga teacher training in Bali.

Bali Yoga School was the best experience in my life!. I’m really grateful with each teacher, each person and each place we visit together. I totally recommend the campus, the yoga lessons, the food and the way to teach of each professor.

I recently completed a yoga retreat at Bali Yoga School and it exceeded all my expectations🧘🏻‍♀️. The environment is peaceful, inspiring, and perfect for deepening your yoga practice🍃. The teachers were incredibly professional, caring, and attentive to every student’s needs. I appreciated how the program combined yoga asana, meditation, breathing techniques, and spiritual teachings in such a balanced way. The staff members were always kind and helpful, making everyone feel like family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and surrounded by beautiful tropical greenery. The food was fresh, healthy, and nourishing every day. I left feeling refreshed, stronger, and more connected to myself. This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life.

This was actually my second time visiting Bali Yoga School. The first time I was a participant of the 300 hour yoga teaching course, and this time I joined in the Levels 1-3 Sound Healing course. After having taken training also in the West, I can say that the instruction here is excellent. I felt that I learned a lot. Chiara is a very experienced and knowledgeable instructor and offers guidance and support to the learning environment. I look forward to returning in 2026 to complete my Reiki training with her also. I must mention that the staff are fantastic and accommodations were very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the catered vegan meals each day. Thank you Bali Yoga School!

Bali yoga school was an amazing, life changing experience! I did my 300 hour here and I was so overwhelmed with love. The campus itself is beautiful and the staff is so kind and helpful. All of the teachers were so passionate, knowledgeable and loving. They all really live the yoga and it was such a honor to learn from them! Nikki is an amazing Ashtanga teacher – I had done a structured practice only once before my training and by the end of the 4 weeks I was leading a class fully independently. She has the kindest energy and is such a supportive teacher and person. Laksmi’s vinyasa classes were SO fun – I learned something new every day and she brought amazing energy. Pandu has so many stories for philosophy to make such a tough topic relatable and easy to understand. He truly cares about his students and is so knowledgeable. Shanti was a fabulous pranayama and meditation teacher – I learned so much about myself and the importance of the practice! She really cared and wants us to succeed. Bablu is a wonderful alignment teacher and helped us gain a deeper understanding of poses, how to make them accessible, and how to help someone go deeper. And Chetan was a fabulous anatomy teacher! Again can be a dense topic, but he was so kind and patient in breaking it down. I will miss all of you dearly 💕 thank you to Dewa for welcoming us!!! Overall a wonderful experience, such an authentic training and I gained such a deeper understanding of yoga that I will incorporate into my daily life when I return home!

If you’re reading this review, let me assure you that will absolutely LOVE your decision in choosing Bali Yoga School! It’s the perfect combination of traditional yoga practices, learnings, with the comfort of natural surroundings & accommodation, with balanced meals and some time for leisure activities. The curriculum is thorough, the schedule tight, but the experience in totality outweighs by far the schematics of requirements. If you are indeed SEEKING a true traditional learning curriculm, look no further! The teachers are extremely credible, with roots embedded in true yogic lifestyle. They indeed embody what they teach. They are selfless in sharing their knowledge and are committed to your advanced learning of Yoga. I completed my 300hr ytt program along with Level 3 Sound Healing and Levels 1,2,3 Reiki… I had also come early to experience a 10 day retreat!! – Shanti taught me the true essence of pranayama and meditation with more than 6 breathing techniques! – Laxmi, often times, in seconds, would concoct creative flows and techniques of stringing together poses and made sure proper alignment and adjustments followed! – Nikki, a true inspiration of how yoga can change your life, who is also a master in Ashtanga helped me believe in myself and showed me what the body is capable of!! -Chetan, made sure we knew how our anatomy worked with our poses. His passion for yoga surpassed anything a book could teach. He is so approachable and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we understand our mind, body, in relation with Yoga! -Pandu, a truly down to earth philosopher, shared his knowledge from his time in India; related stories from the Bhagvad Gita, Patanjali’s Sutras, and Hindu Mythology to help me understand the backbone of Yoga: «Yogas Citta Vritti Nirodhya» – and his jokes and approach to teaching were friendly, relatable, and funny!!! -Chiara, an organic instructor who was a true light to be around. She is so talented, not only as a master in yoga, but an exceptional teacher of Reiki and Sound Healing Therapy. Her Vinyasa classes were perfect for all levels and she made me feel so comfortable even when I had modifications. She’s got such amazing energy and it is felt through and through. I couldn’t imagine this program without her!!! -Since I attended the retreat, I had the pleasure to have Ayu, a soul I’ll never forget. Her approach in the asanas were natural, challenging but her attitude in achieving the postures in your way was extremely positive! She provided me strength when I doubted my ability! The staff at BYS also play a huge part of this experience. -Vegas an incredible talent, made sure we had our meals and even packed my plate when I was late in arrival. She made me feel like my wellbeing was her priority! -Trita, John, Ketut, Wayan ensured our facilities were tip top. Often time there were the last to sleep and first to wake up! -And Mr. DewaJi, program manager, what an outstanding individual. The warmth, hospitality, genuine kindness and care was felt every single day on campus! He made sure our schedules were adhered to, food was served on time, our excursions were perfect and overall experience was of great quality! He’s like Dumbledore, but waay cooler and with the most colorful sarongs! If you still need more convincing, I dare you to choose another school! The accommodation was private, spacious, and clean. The massages were divine and I’d recommend booking with Wayan or Ayu they were awesome! This was the most perfect choice for me and I wouldn’t change a thing! Good Luck and you’ll most likely see me here again!

I did the yoga teacher training (200 hours) one year ago and I can highly recommend it! ⭐️ The teachers were amazing and had so much knowledge. You could tell they really love yoga and their job. They were so inspiring and gave me a good foundation of yoga. The food was really good and I liked the location and facilities. The staff and place feels so authentic and I felt taken care of in such a good way. The price is soo good compared to other places. You receive great value for the price here! I really miss this period and think about these amazing weeks often. They were some of the best weeks of my life. I will be forever grateful for this and all the people I met ❤️

I spent 3 weeks at Yogmantra and honestly had such a beautiful experience there. From the beginning, everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very peaceful and positive. A big thank you to Rohit Ji for being such an inspiring and patient teacher. I learned a lot from his classes and how to teach in the future. Mrs. Pilya was always so kind and caring, Wayan Ji was also amazing always helpful, warm, and full of good energy. These 3 weeks were truly special for me, and I’m very grateful for everything I experienced and learned at Yogmantra. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine and meaningful yoga journey

Did the 200 hour yoga teacher training, highly recommend! The teachers are very attentive, care about your development are willing to go out of their way to ensure you develop your skills. We were provided with textbook, and further materials we can read optionally. Staff are all very kind, they address all the students by name, very attentive to our needs, willing to drive us places if we need something. They also hosted a campfire for us, we made offering and learned traditional Balinese dance. The staff are constantly looking for feedback and listen to the feedback. The rooms are really nice, with TV, AC, you can ask for big blanket, large washroom, and blackout curtains. The property is in a very quiet area, if you need anything you can order from Grab or Gojek for cheap. My roommate need urgent care and the staff instantly reacted which was great. Highly recommend, really enjoyed my time.

Yogmantra Bali has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. 🪷🧘‍♀️💕🌀 I’m so grateful to all my teachers. Teacher Ashish who guided us in meditation and pranayama with such grounded and clear presence. he brings both maturity and wisdom, and also explains Ashtanga and alignment in a way that is easy to understand. Teacher Sunil taught Hatha and anatomy. He is incredibly knowledgeable, yet teaches with such calmness, childlike wonder, and joy that every class felt both insightful and enjoyable. He naturally makes everyone around him feel lighter and happy. Teacher Pilya was always such a calm, grounding energy, and her Yin classes felt soft and supportive in the best way. And Teacher Wayan ‘s philosophy and Ayurveda lessons that really expanded how I see life and practice. And yes, we even had our little «watermelon yoga» moments with him that always made class fun. To the amazing owner Praju, thank you for creating such a beautiful and supportive space. And to the staff , Niya, Lily, Putri, and everyone – you were all so caring in the small daily things that made such a difference. Thank you for the clean rooms and yummy, nourishing food. And to my classmates from Shala 1 and Shala 2 – I’ll treasure every practice, every laugh, every shared story. I’ve learned so much here – not just asanas, but yoga as a way of living and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who made that possible. 🙏

I’m really happy to have started 2026 with such a meaningful experience. I completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yogmantra over 3 weeks, and the entire time felt truly dreamlike. The schedule was intensive, but incredibly well-balanced, and the 3 weeks passed far too quickly. Before this training, I had practiced yoga for about a year almost 7 years ago, so I was almost starting from the beginning again. Despite that, all the teachers guided us with so much patience and kindness that I never felt left behind or pressured. This training helped me realize that yoga is not just a physical exercise, but a deep practice connected to philosophy, breath, and self-awareness. I feel very satisfied and grateful for everything I learned here. I would love to mention each teacher who made this experience special: Ashish, who taught Hatha yoga, pranayama, and meditation, always guided the classes with a calm and gentle voice. His teaching created a peaceful and safe space, especially during meditation and breathwork sessions. Sunil, who taught anatomy and Ashtanga yoga, explained complex topics in a very clear and approachable way. He was always open to questions and made learning feel structured and easy to understand. Wayan, who taught yoga philosophy and Ayurveda, helped us see yoga beyond physical movement. The chakra healing sessions were also a very meaningful part of the training. Pilya, who taught Yin yoga, was the only female teacher. Her soothing voice, beautiful music choices, and class flow made every Yin session deeply relaxing and comforting. The staff also deserve special appreciation. Everyone was consistently kind, supportive, and attentive. The facilities were always clean, the food was delicious, and they were very thoughtful about dietary needs—from vegan meals to allergies. The special event dinners were fun and added warmth and joy to our stay. Although the training lasted just over three weeks, it feels like it ended too soon. I already miss the people, the atmosphere, and the daily rhythm of life at Yogmantra. I’m truly grateful to have begun 2026 in such a beautiful and grounding place, and I would highly recommend Yogmantra to anyone seeking a deeper and more authentic yoga teacher training experience. Btw, the massage they provided is great. Take it a lot.

I never expected to find such a peaceful yoga studio tucked away along this busy road! The studio is cozy, open, and surrounded by nature. During the practice, you can hear the breeze and birds singing, which creates such a calming atmosphere. The natural ventilation is really good, making the space feel fresh and comfortable throughout class. It’s also a lovely place to relax before or after practice. Facilities are well maintained too—the toilets are clean, and showers are available. Everything you might need for class is provided, including mats, blocks, and straps, which makes it very convenient. I joined the Moon/Mind Hatha Yoga (Level 1, 90 minutes) class. It focuses on the fundamentals, making it suitable for beginners as well as anyone wanting to slow down and reconnect with the basics. Ela is a wonderful instructor who gives very clear instructions and demonstrates each pose, so it’s easy to follow along. No pre-booking is required—just arrive about 10 minutes early to secure a spot. Drinking water is also provided at the studio. I left feeling completely refreshed and reset. Highly recommend this studio if you’re looking for a peaceful and beginner-friendly yoga experience in Bali.

the location is accessible, environment is peaceful and induces calm in me. the yoga hall is well ventilated and cooling. during the class, i could feel the breeze and hear the leaves rustle as it moves with the wind – i felt like one with nature. i attended the beginners’ hatha yoga class (my first time!) and our teacher Ami was so kind and gentle. she shared her wisdom on our true nature and it moved me. her willingness to demonstrate the asanas, and guidance on the breath really helps me in deepening my practice. what a blessing to cross path with a great teacher! i enjoyed my time here a lot, and i would definitely revisit the practice when i’m in canggu again 🙏🏻

Highly recommend practicing yoga here. I have practiced yoga across India and south east Asia and this is by far the best studio I have visited. When I started coming up here I felt I had wasted my time spending hours of my life practicing yoga at different places. The yoga here is both authentic and effective. It is aligned to what this thousand year old science was designed to do. All the teachers are great and you get consistency. I enjoy coming to the space as it’s calming & has beautiful energy. There is complimentary ginger tea, beautiful gardens & just a feeling of peace in the air (a rarity it canggu) If you are on any kind of healing journey and want to live a more peaceful and joyful life (which is everyone) then you should come here. I actually choose to stay in this area of Bali so I can attend classes here as they are that good. After experiencing classes here I would definitely choose to do my next YTT with the practice

I attended 3 yoga classes. I enjoyed every class. I love the long holds- the time to actually get in the pose, alignment, then turn to breath and notice my mind/chatter. I loved the pranyama and meditation at the end. I’m not sure how some people can say the classes are easy- I’ve been practising for 10 years and found even the level 1 class a challenge (my mind was chattering). Great to practise yoga and not be in an exercise class!!! Beautiful space to practice in too. Thank you. Kate 🧡

If you are looking for real yoga, look no further! I have learned and experienced SO many invaluable teachings from this amazing place and I feel gratitude for life for them and their transmissions. Any review complaining about too much breathing, sitting, or anything else doesn’t know what they are talking about. Pranayama IS yoga. Meditation IS yoga. We’ve just been scammed to believe yoga is just a creatively sequenced sweaty loud workout that feels good. You won’t find vinyasa flow or fluffy new age stuff here but what you will find is far beyond if you’re ready…. true treasures of an honoured lineage, a rare gem indeed 💎

I did the 50h yin TTC at this place. The place is in a quiet area outside of Uluwatu. It’s a simple and relaxing accommodation perfect for yoga classes, retreat, office meetings etc. It has a pool, dry sauna and ice cold bath. We were served breakfast , lunch and dinner while doing the training. Food was delicious, healthy and complete. Yummy desserts. The staff : from the owners- Celine and Ben were amazing hosts and teachers. ; love the kitchen staff who prepared our delicious food and drinks. One can purchase coffee and other beverages like matcha latte, coconut coffee etc. from the kitchen. The yoga TTC is amazing, not boring. Educational in a relaxed setting. There’s many hands on experiences ( lab) that will prepare the students to teach yoga.

Completed my 50 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training at Salty Prana. Celine and Benny compliment each others teaching and yoga styles beautifully. Super grounded and authentic people, they both have such a FAB sense of humour. Some great belly laughs. Highlights: + The incredible vegetarian food (and nightly raw treats). The raw caramel slice was my favourite. + The upstairs outdoor yoga studio with the most beautiful breeze. + 6°C cold plunges every morning with my roommate. + Evening sauna sessions before bed. A pretty special week of slowing down, learning and connecting. Most Yin I have ever done in my life 😂 I will be back for more training in the future.

A life changing experience that I would highly recommend for anyone at any point in their Yoga and meditation journey. The teachers were very skilled, kind, and understanding of everyone’s individual needs to incorporate into each daily practice. The accomodation was beautiful and relaxing with such kind and attentive staff. If you are thinking of starting your yoga journey like I am, I would recommend the 7 day course, it gave me more time and a better understanding of practice. I met some amazing like minded people from across the world and made some great connections. I will always remember my experience, and cannot highly recommend Blooming Lotus to anyone interested in Yoga and Meditation. Thank you so much ❤️

Left early! Very surprised by our experience given the seemingly positive reviews for this retreat. Many reviews describe accommodations as «luxury» – in reality more like 2/3 star hotel class. We got the villa and it was not a relaxing experience in between yoga sessions – it was infested with ants and other insects once we got in. This along with a cleanliness and ac issues was surprising for a retreat priced at a 5 star hotel equivalent. Food was also lacking – first night we had to order a Grab meal afterwards. But of course, this isn’t just a stay this is a yoga retreat – as for the yoga we were also very underwhelmed. If you are an absolute beginner then it may be appropriate. Mostly cat cows, child’s pose and long meditations. Zero dynamic or advanced poses as seen on their website. The more advanced poses must be for the teacher training but that needs to be better distinguished on website. Wasn’t for us!

I recently attended the 4-day retreat and wish I would have done the full 7-days! The staff were so kind and amazing! I stayed in a private Villa and it was incredibly relaxing. I was very scared at first being a solo traveler as it is not a traditional hotel room with a keycard lock, but I had no issues with safety during my stay. It is a beautiful open air villa, with a closed room that has A/C. There were ants and lizards in my room each day, but that’s to be expected in such a warm climate! I loved the private pool. I met an amazing group of people during this yoga retreat and will cherish our memories together! As my first solo trip and first yoga retreat this was an amazing experience and has made me want to book 100 more! The food was so yummy, although I do suggest bringing snacks and protein bars if you like to eat before meditating and yoga. I enjoyed our outings each day and only wish I had more time at the retreat with my new friends and more time to relax. The yoga classes were great and I enjoyed the meditation. I found it challenging to meditate for so long as this is not apart of my normal routine, but it was a transformative experience for me. While the classes aren’t the most challenging or sweat breaking classes, I loved the chance to slow down and learn about the yoga philosophy. The two teachers that I had were great and brought two different styles of yoga practice. I would suggest bringing your own yoga mat. I also had an amazing massage with the spa with flexible scheduling! I couldn’t have imagined a better experience for my first trip to Bali and I hope to be back one day! If you’re considering this retreat, book it!

Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of the training. All of the teachers were experienced, knowledgeable, and professional, and I learned a lot from each of them. The organization was also excellent. Everything was well coordinated, ran on time, and followed the schedule as planned. The only major issue for me was the food. Breakfast was good, but lunch and dinner were very disappointing. The only real source of protein was tofu, so if you don’t like tofu, you hardly get any protein at all. The other options were usually just boiled vegetables with noodles, and they were often served cold and didn’t taste good. For example, one meal was simply cooked carrots with ginger rice, and another was carrot salad with tofu. Considering how physically demanding the training was every day, I don’t think these meals were appropriate. Most of the time, I had to order food from outside to make sure I was eating enough. I knew in advance that the meals would be vegetarian, but there are so many delicious, high-protein vegetarian options available. Unfortunately, it felt like Yoga Union chose the cheapest and lowest-quality options instead.

This place is absolutely amazing. All the teachers, especially Nina is one of a kind, very caring and she made sure that every one of us understands the best out of the courses. And to all the participants, including myself had learnt so many things. We are all were focus of learning new knowledge and upgrading new skills. Hopefully in the future, we all can share those knowledges to those who need it. Definitely will be joining again on July on more courses with my very bestfriend.

I cannot even begin to describe what an incredible and transformative experience has been to do a YTT at YogaUnion Bali. I did the hybrid version , which is a GREAT Option for people who need flexibility, but I am really looking forward to do a fully on site YTT in the future. Everything, from the quality of the teachings to the accommodations and the catering, has been nothing short but perfect. The training is physically and emotionally intense, but you always feel supported, heard and guided by the BEST teachers, not to mention the amazing bonds you create with the other students. I am just baffled at how much I’ve grown and bettered myself as a person just by attending this amazing training.

I completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training. It was a truly wonderful experience — I learned so much about yoga, myself, my body, my mindset, and I also met amazing people. The teachers put so much effort and care into the training, and I can highly recommend it. In a very positive way, it felt like therapy.

Great teacher training! I would recommend fire shala with main teacher Himanshu – he is the best! I also couldn’t wish for a better philosophy and pranayama teacher than Aka – she has such a nice and calm way of teaching and telling stories – I wish I could go on with philosophy classes with her. Food was delicious and staff was super nice as well – very helpful and friendly all the time. Especially Devi (hotel manager at new Purnama) was super caring and helping me with very issue I had – many thanks to her!! I can 100% recommend yoga union Bali teacher training!

I had a truly meaningful experience at Bali Yoga Ashram. The teachers were kind, supportive, and deeply passionate about sharing yoga beyond just the physical practice. The course was intensive but balanced, with a good combination of asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and anatomy. What I appreciated most was the atmosphere. It felt simple, peaceful, and focused, which helped me disconnect from distractions and really look inward. The staff and students also created a warm community during the training. This TTC was not only about learning how to teach yoga, but also about understanding myself a little more deeply. I’m grateful for the experience and the memories I made here. Thank you to everyone at Bali Yoga Ashram 🙏✨

I completed the 200h YTT at Yoga Bali Ashram in June 2026 and I truly recommend it. I was lucky to be part of an unusually small group of just 16 people. The course has a holistic approach to health, focusing not only on yoga practice but also on overall wellbeing. The teachers created a safe and supportive atmosphere where everyone was encouraged to learn from the basics while still having plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves. The location was beautiful, and all classes took place in open-air shalas surrounded by nature. The food was fresh, healthy and mostly Indonesian cuisine. The accommodation was comfortable, although it’s not quite at the standard of a 4-star European resort and could use a bit of a refresh. The optional Ayurveda program was available for an additional $200, but participation was entirely optional. Apart from that, there were no unexpected costs. Overall, this training offered a great balance of learning, personal growth, challenge, and enjoyment. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic YTT experience.

My 300-hour TTC experience at Bali Yoga Ashram in May 2026 was a perfect combination of professional structure, supportive environment, and advanced-practice orientation. The training went far beyond asana practice and offered deep work in sequencing architecture, cueing, observation and correction, class planning, and hands-on adjustments. I was especially happy with the teachers — all of them were grounded, very knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to the students’ growth throughout the program. I also appreciated the balance between traditional yoga philosophy and modern teaching methodology, avoiding both overly commercial «fitness yoga» and rigid dogmatic approaches. The course helped me refine not only my teaching skills, but also deepen my understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice. I left feeling more confident, inspired, and better prepared to guide students with greater awareness and authenticity. I would highly recommend this training to anyone looking for a meaningful and professionally structured 300-hour TTC experience in Bali.

I can’t say enough how amazing my experience was! I honestly can’t think of a single thing that was missing. Before choosing a school, I did thorough research comparing various companies and countries, and I’m so happy I ended up here. If you’re thinking about doing your 200h/300h training, don’t overthink it – just do it! If you’re looking for a school, stop searching and just book Bali Yoga Ashram! I am extremely grateful to all the teachers! I haven’t felt this peaceful and happy in a long time. Just one hour of philosophy class with Azmi is enough to lift your mood and keep you positive for a week. A huge thank you to Emmi and Ram for taking such good care of us and sharing so much incredible knowledge! ❤️

My experience with All Yoga was absolutely incredible. Practicing yoga right on the beach was something truly special, and being able to dip our feet in the ocean during the 5 minute break felt magical. It made the whole experience even more peaceful and unforgettable. Also, David, Devi, and Sonia are the best teachers I have ever had! Their energy, guidance, and care made every class so special. I learned so much from them and felt inspired every single day. I love you all so much and I can’t wait to see you again soon. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!

I just completed my 200hr YTT training for Ashtanga Vinyasa with All Yoga in Nusa Lembongan, Bali. If you have the thought of coming to this training, TAKE IT! I had my training with David, Sonia, and Devi specifically and these individuals truly changed my life. The curriculum was fast-paced but supportive and so loving. I cannot believe how much I learned in such a short period of time. You start teaching right away, literally day TWO of training. I feel so prepared to come home and teach Modified Primary Series Ashtanga as well as Vinyasa Yoga. We took all kinds of classes during training, did exercises to strengthen our practice, ice baths, numerous lectures on philosophy, anatomy, structuring a vinyasa, giving hands-on adjustments, and more. AND you get to practice in the gorgeous beach-front shala, hearing the waves throughout practice and taking breaks right next to the water (or IN the water if you want a quick swim). The island and the people on the island are SO kind, it is absolutely beautiful, and I already want to come back. If you have any dietary restrictions, look no further. I was taken care of at almost every restaurant on the island with a gluten allergy and they have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options everywhere. It was truly a life changing month and I cannot believe it’s already over. All Yoga forever!!!

It was such an incredible Yoga Teacher Training! Everything was very well thought – even the little details! Our teachers; David, Devi & Sonia were incredible, they had so much knowledge to share with us and they were so supportive during this journey! I was looking forward to each day to learn something, deepen my practice and teach 🙂 When I started this journey I wasn’t very sure about teaching but now I can confidently say that I am very excited and ready to be a yoga teacher! Thank you so much to All Yoga and our teachers ❤️

Truely amazing experience and highly recommend to anyone who wants to deepen the practice and understanding of Yoga. I am a 37-year old who work at a coporate role full-time and decided to take the training using half of the holidays I got for the year. Although I had no real intention to change my career trajectory in the short-term I have to say the tranining is still extremely profound and interesting and enjoyable for my own, and as the teacher put so beautifully during our graduation «being a yoga teacher means if you’re given one hour of anyone’s life your job is to use all of the tools you have to make this person feel better.» And after this training I can confidently say that I now have the tools to do so, not only for my loved ones but for myself. I also want to highlight how amazing the people I have enounctered during this month, the trainers, David, Devi, Sonia are not only knowlegeable but truely amazing human beings and role models. And the classmates are just full of positive energy and motivation to learn, I am truley gratful to have met all of them and I know the friendships will last for years to come. The place, Nusa Lembongan, is also fantastic for the training, it’s touristy but way less commercialized compared to Bali mainland, still feel very genuine and the local people are extremly lovely and kind. The views are stunning. The food, although nothing is Michelin-starred, are truely fresh, healthy, affordable and delicious. Let alone the amazing spas and massages to treat yourself on a day off. Lastly, I want to mention the method of the training combining modern science and ancient philosophy gave me new perspectives as coming from a more traditional Ashtanga background, I find it truely helpful and inspiring. Overall, a truely amazing experience and I have so grateful to myself to have made the decision to join! ❤️

I had such a beautiful experience training at YNV! I’ve always loved yoga and felt confident in my practice, but during this training I realized that even something as fundamental as how I stand still needed refinement. It was truly eye-opening. While incorporating modern perspectives, the course is rooted in traditional Hatha yoga. I was able to clearly understand how to cue and how to make the practice more meditative and intentional. Beyond asana, we also learned so much about yoga philosophy, anatomy, women’s cycles, breath work, mantra — things that truly shift the way you see life. Every teacher was incredibly professional and supportive, always taking the time to answer ANY question with depth and care. Even now, one month later, I feel a deep sense of happiness every single day, no matter the circumstances. ❤️ The knowledge, love, and happiness I received from the teachers and the lifelong friends I met during this training will stay with me forever. It was truly the best gift I’ve ever given to myself. Special thanks to Deep, Sadhana, and Rajat. Mangal Ho! 🌸

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Yoga New Vision! From the retreat staff to the teaching team, every detail was handled with such care, intention, and excellence. Throughout my entire stay, I felt supported, genuinely cared for, completely at ease, and continually inspired. Not only did I gain an immense amount of knowledge about yoga philosophy, asana, human anatomy, and conscious teaching practices, but I also learned so much about myself and the world around me. It was truly an enlightening and profoundly transformative experience. Along the way, I formed incredible friendships with people from all over the world—connections I will always cherish. I will be forever grateful for this journey, and I truly cannot recommend Yoga New Vision enough. Thank you, Deep, Sadhana, Gaurav, Anurag, Anya, and the entire Om Ham Retreat family. Mangal Ho!! 🙏✨

I had an amazing experience completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training at this school. The program was very well-structured and thoughtfully designed, covering asana, anatomy, philosophy, pranayama, and teaching methodology in a clear and engaging way. The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about sharing yoga. They created a safe and encouraging environment where I felt comfortable learning, asking questions, and growing both personally and professionally. The guidance during teaching practice was especially valuable and helped build my confidence a lot. The atmosphere of the school was welcoming and positive, and I truly felt part of a supportive community throughout the training. I would highly recommend this 200-hour training to anyone who wants to deepen their practice or become a yoga teacher. Truly a life-changing experience!

This is a really well organized TTC program. All 3 profesors covering all the classes are pedagogically phenomenal and also amazing humans. They really do make the training program amazing. The energy of the resort is also unique and truly healing. I had the privilege of completing my TTC program here in Feb-march 2026 and learned so much, while meeting a beautiful yoga tribe that later became like family. It’s an intensive program and worth being truly present during every moment of it. I recommend it 200%!!! Grateful for this experience, thank you YNV!

I spent the month of July at World Peace Yoga School in Bali working on my 300-hour yoga teacher training and had the most incredible experience. The accommodation is not a 5-star hotel (you might want to bring your own towel/washcloth/hand towel), but the school was wonderful and you only need that room to sleep in (not a huge part of your experience). I learned so much in the month that I was there. The teachers poured their knowledge out to us (big shout out to Vishal, Guru Ji, Maa Haripriya, HD, Akshat, and Dominika). The days were packed with classes, but we were also provided with opportunities to enjoy excursions together (water purification ceremony, waterfalls, coffee plantations, beach day, aerial yoga, kirtan), as well as got to experience Jai Jagannath. All of the adjustments and alignment techniques I learned were different from my 200-hour training, which I appreciated. The food was delicious–so grateful to the kitchen staff. I also met some of the most incredible people and am happy to say I have friends all over the world. So grateful for the community and every second spent at World Peace Yoga School. So blessed for the welcoming and safe space the staff created for us all to learn and practice in. Highly recommend!

My 300-hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training at World Peace Yoga School in Bali was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I feel incredibly grateful for the depth of knowledge and wisdom I received during this journey. I completed the training in February, and it exceeded all my expectations. The program was not only professionally structured but also deeply inspiring on a personal level. I gained so much more than just technical skills—I experienced real growth, both as a yoga practitioner and as a person. The teachers were outstanding. I was especially impressed by Ankit, Shakti, Hari, Akshat, and Hari Praya, who each brought their own unique energy, expertise, and passion to the training. Their dedication and authenticity made the learning experience truly special. I can honestly say that I only had the best experiences at this school. I highly recommend World Peace Yoga School to anyone who is looking to deepen their practice or continue their yoga education. Another highlight of this experience was meeting so many wonderful and inspiring people from all over the world. I made meaningful connections and friendships that I truly cherish, and I’m grateful to have shared this journey with such an amazing international community. I am beyond thankful for this opportunity and will carry everything I learned with me moving forward. Thank you 💛💛💛

My experience at World Peace Yoga School in Bali was exceptional. The teachers bring years of experience, deep wisdom, and genuine dedication to the yogic path, guiding students through both the practical and philosophical dimensions of yoga with care and clarity. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering philosophy, alignment, teaching methodology, pranayama, Hatha, and Ashtanga yoga. The course is accessible for beginners, building from foundational principles, while those with previous experience will naturally find it easier to engage with the physical and theoretical aspects. Learning under Guru Vishnu and Ma Haripriya was a true privilege. Their knowledge, authenticity, and presence inspired us each day to show up fully and deepen our practice. The facilities are peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful greenery, creating an ideal environment for learning. The nourishing vegetarian meals—featuring both Balinese and Indian cuisine—were consistently delicious, and the school’s location made it easy to enjoy Ubud during free time. Overall, the combination of outstanding teaching, a supportive environment, and a thoughtfully designed curriculum made this a deeply meaningful experience. I leave with immense gratitude for everything the school has shared. Thank you, World Peace Yoga School.

I just completed the 200h Kundalini Yoga teacher training and wow, it’s hard to put into words what a transformative experience this was for me. I chose this school because I wanted an approach to yoga which was as close to the source as possible, and this is exactly what I found. If you choose this school, you will be learning Yoga from the Himalayas. I truly feel this is as close as you get to learning yoga the way that it has been taught for thousands of years. All the teachers were fantastic, very knowledgeable, kind and wise. I especially appreciated the spiritual approach they have towards yoga, which should always come first, and the physical postures second. The place is very nicely located in the center of Ubud and you will get a very good immersion into the culture here, as they also took us on a few excursions to get to know a little bit of the traditions and places nearby. We were served delicious vegan Indian and Balinese meals every day and, as much as I thought this would be hard as it is not my typical diet, I have to say I really enjoyed every single meal cooked with so much love by the amazing kitchen staff. I was also very lucky to be part of an amazing group of people with whom I connected on a deep level and am lucky enough to get to call them soul family. Special thanks to Guruji and Maa Haripriya for making this experience extra special.

I would like to begin by saying a heartfelt thank you to everyone at the school. From the restaurant staff, who were always friendly, welcoming, and willing to accommodate requests, to the kitchen team, who prepared such delicious, nutritious, and healthy meals every day, I felt genuinely cared for throughout my stay.I also want to thank the accommodation and pool staff. They were always kind, respectful, smiley, and prompt with any request, whether it was towels for the swimming pool, help with the room, or anything else that was needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their presence and attitude made the environment feel very safe and peaceful, which was especially important to me as I was travelling alone. The accommodation itself was beautiful. I stayed in a private bedroom, and the bed was large, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after long days of training. The swimming pool area was a beautiful setting, and the shower was excellent, with perfect water pressure and hot water always available. The filtered water was also available all the time, which made everything easy and comfortable. I honestly cannot fault the facilities. The shalas were beautiful, airy, well-equipped with fans, and always kept clean. The whole space felt cared for.The teachers were also wonderful. My Kundalini teacher ( HariPriya) offered a deep, beautiful, and meaningful experience, she is not only a teacher, I can’t put into words the beauty and the energy to have her teaching, I had never truly had contact with yoga in this way before, and learning from someone so knowledgeable and connected to what they teach was very special. The classes opened something much deeper in me than I expected. My philosophy and pranayama teacher brought so much light into the room. His passion for yoga philosophy was clear in the way he explained and shared the teachings. He was compassionate, funny, serious when needed, and deeply engaging. The pranayama classes were especially powerful, and the chanting at the end was incredibly moving. His voice carried something very beautiful and uplifting. My Hatha yoga teacher ( Akshat) was also very knowledgeable and delivered the classes with professionalism and clarity, he is a beautiful person, and very kind. The alignment teacher ( hi Ankit) clearly knew what he was talking about, and the way he conducted the classes was structured, professional, and helpful, but also light and fun when it allowed , he is also the go to person if you have any questions and he is always around.( hi boss) A big shout also for Hannah, that have converted me ( internal joke) to Yoga Nidra and Yin, she is also a big asset to the school, thank you for the sound baths. I learned a lot from the physical, philosophical, energetic, and spiritual aspects of the course.I have only good things to say about this school. This is not only a journey to become an asana teacher. It is much more than that. It is a journey into yoga as a whole. It teaches yoga in a way that feels connected to its roots, not only as a physical practice, but as a deeper path of self-understanding, discipline, breath, philosophy, devotion, and transformation. For anyone in the Western world who wants to understand yoga beyond postures, this course offers a real immersion into what yoga truly is and how it can be lived and shared. I cannot recommend this school highly enough.

Frequently asked questions about yoga teacher training academies in Bali

What is a comprehensive yoga teacher training (TYT) program in Bali like?

A comprehensive yoga teacher training academy in Bali typically includes a combination of intensive theory, practical asana practice, meditation techniques, and pranayama instruction. Students often spend around 200-400 hours learning about the history of yoga, different yoga styles, anatomy, physiology, ethical considerations, and business skills for running a yoga studio. Many programs emphasize a holistic approach to well-being, integrating elements of mindfulness and self-awareness.

What are the key differences between a 200-hour and a 300-hour TYT program?

A 200-hour TYT program is the most common standard certification offered internationally. It provides a foundational understanding of yoga teaching. A 300-hour TYT program builds upon this foundation, offering more advanced asana instruction, deeper meditation practices, and a greater focus on teaching methodology. Often, 300-hour programs include more intensive practicums and mentorship opportunities, leading to a more refined teaching experience.

How much does a Bali TYT program typically cost?

The cost of a Bali TYT program varies greatly depending on the academy’s reputation, the accommodation options, and the duration of the program. Generally, expect to pay anywhere from $1800 to $4000 USD for a 200-hour program, and $2500 to $6000 USD for a 300-hour program. It's important to factor in accommodation costs, food, airport transfers, and potential travel insurance.

What should I look for in an academy’s curriculum?

When researching TYT academies, carefully examine the curriculum. Look for a program that covers a diverse range of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative. It’s essential to ensure the program includes a significant amount of practical teaching practice, with ample opportunities to teach a variety of students in a supportive environment. Also, consider the qualifications and experience of the instructors.

How important is the location of the academy?

The location of the academy can significantly impact your learning experience. Consider factors like the surrounding environment, the accessibility of the location, and the proximity to beaches, temples, and natural attractions. Many academies are situated in beautiful, tranquil settings that foster a sense of calm and promote deep relaxation.

Do all Bali TYT academies offer certification?

Not all Bali TYT academies are accredited or offer internationally recognized certifications. It’s crucial to research the certification standards of the academy and ensure that the certification is recognized by a reputable yoga organization, such as Yoga Alliance, if that is important to you. Always verify the recognition of the certificate before committing to a program.

What type of accommodation is typically provided?

Accommodation options vary significantly between Bali TYT academies. Some offer dormitory-style accommodation, while others provide private rooms with shared facilities. Some include meals as part of the program, while others require you to arrange your own food. Carefully review the accommodation details to ensure they align with your budget and preferences.

    What is the student-to-teacher ratio?

The student-to-teacher ratio is a crucial factor in determining the quality of the learning experience. A lower ratio allows for more personalized attention and feedback from the instructors. Look for academies that maintain a ratio of no more than 8-10 students per teacher, particularly during asana practice and teaching practicums. It will help you in understanding each posture.

What are the visa requirements for studying in Bali?

Visa requirements for studying in Bali depend on your nationality. Many nationalities can enter Bali visa-free for up to 30 days as tourists. However, if you plan to participate in a TYT program, you’ll likely need a student visa. Research the specific requirements for your country and apply for a visa well in advance of your departure. Consult the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your country for the most up-to-date information.

How can I assess an academy’s teaching style and philosophy?

Before committing to a TYT academy, explore their teaching style and philosophy. Many academies offer introductory workshops or online sessions, which provide an opportunity to experience their approach firsthand. Research the foundational principles they espouse and ensure they align with your own beliefs and values. Look for evidence of a compassionate and authentic teaching style.
